I'm going to buy a PS3 but I'm confused if I should get it locally (Asian) or from the US.
I was told that the PS3 can play all games from ALL regions. Is this confirmed?
The bigger confusion is if the Asian PS3 can play US Region Blu Ray discs.
Need help ASAP.

hi bro! BD movies n games are mostly regionA (US and Asia) when it comes to PS3 n are both compatible to the PS3. the only incompatibility issue is the DVD region. R1 for US, R3 for asia

movies both bluray and dvd are region locked
all games are region free
(according to wikipedia)

Blu-ray regions.....
A: East Asia (except Mainland China and Mongolia), Southeast Asia, North America, South America and their dependencies.
B: Africa, Southwest Asia, Europe (except Russia), Oceania and their dependencies.
C: Central Asia, East Asia (Mainland China and Mongolia only), South Asia, Europe (Russia only) and their dependencies.

with my research so far here are my options: according to some guys in pinoyps it works but i wanted the other option ps2 dual shock + ps2 to usb para safe .. |
