Wonder how different An American In Paris SE is from previous releases (which before it become hard-to-find cost half as much). 

Lots of good TV series.  Bad time for price increases especially when many of those series contains a lot less episodes because of the writer strike.  I'd still buy Big Bang Theory and maybe Terminator and Pushing Daisies.  The rest I'll wait half a year when they will cost half as much...

BTW, if you don't count Shipping charges, Warner local prices for those TV series is actually the same or higher than Amazon's current prices:
Pushing Daisies, Big Bang Theory, Terminator ($18.95@)

There has been no two-disc version of Speed Racer announced for R1 or R2, either.

And I thought I would be able to finally watch the Speed Racer, after seeing it's very cheap packaging, I'd rather wait for it to go down to 150ph.

I was at Astro RP earlier tonight and sabi ni bossing late September pa raw yung ibang TV DVD sets. Warner daw ang distributor (?)

big increase by warner. I wonder if base nila ito sa current exchange rate. hehe

or the fact na those increases were triggered by other expenses.
