It's nice to hear that there is a new Astro in Glorietta again.

Was there this afternoon. It's a small and temporary set-up only for the caravan sale. The saleslady said they may not open again in Glorietta since they have a big outlet in SM Makati.

There are a lot of dvds for P100 or on a buy 1-take 1 basis, but none of the titles interested me, and most of the titles were unknown to me anyway. The best for me were the Barney titles on a buy 1-take 1 basis (still at P199@). Other kids' dvds (Sesame Street, Dora, etc.) are also buy 1-take 1, including Disney titles.

OT but related - Tower Records Glorietta also has a dvd and vcd sale (Magnavision titles), though I forgot to ask the sale period. There may be a thread about it here, I should check.

I passed by the area and checked out the place. Yeap its just a temporary area for sale. There were some DVDs for 199 and up and some box sets mostly series. I didn't saw anything interesting but you can
check it out maybe youll find something.

Yes, it's still ongoing. Passed by earlier tonight. Saw Enchanted for just P199.

Dropped by today. Enchanted lang at P199 ang worth it. Other titles, at regular sale prices.  Boxsets at regular sale prices like desperate housewives at P 1,500, etc.

Passed by there a while ago. The only titles I find notable are Supernatural Seasons 1& 2 and Gone With The Wind boxsets at Php 650. I was hoping for discounted I Am Legend and Sweeney Todd, but they don't have stocks.

History of Rock and Roll is 6 discs, 2 discs each in one case. Did you get it? It's very good. I got my copy at Astrovision SM Makati a few weeks ago when they had a sale there, but at P799. Bakit kay iba-iba ang sale prices ng ibang Astro branches? Pero ok lang, worth it naman ang History of R&R.

Got BEN-HUR4 Discs Collectors Edition....... ...want to get also Gone With The Wind kaya lang ala ng Budget.....he...he.. next time na lang...

Went back and got Gone With The Wind.

Rome (Season 1) is priced at Php 750, while Rome (Season 2) is at Php 650. Might come back again to get those two.

They will be stocking I Am Legend and Sweeney Todd maybe by tomorrow, although they're not sure if these will be discounted.

yes sir.i noticed that also.  the warner anniversary sale offered titles at a lower price. (like nung swordfish, the matrix, animatrix, etc.)

It's not the same sale unfortunately. The anniversary sale prices were limited to a specific time period and event. Hopefully they'll reconsider this policy for future events.

However, Warner also mentioned that they're adding additional titles to the Glorietta 1 event this weekend:

• The Departed (2-disc steelcase) Php499
• 300 (2-disc steelcase) Php499
• Superman UCE (Class B - clean Disc 1 but slightly dented steel box) Php1,750

When you paid Php 3250 for this, and basically have only watched Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut, you can't help but be very annoyed at the price drop.

Which makes me wary to buy new releases nowadays, with the exception of those gorgeous LE's (they'd better be limited) that Magna is releasing in the coming weeks.

But with those steelbooks dropping to Php 499, I'm having second thoughts about the Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk steelbook releases. But I already made a deposit, so to heck with my apprehensions!

Will there still be warner titles even if it's turn of Magnavision Sale?
