Lost: The Complete Fourth Season (The Expanded Experience)
Php 1200

I got a closer look at this a while ago. It says on the box that this is Volume 2. When I asked the Viva sales rep where Volume 1 is, she said this the only one that Viva released. I'm not sure if this release is the complete season set. Viva is notorious for releasing TV series DVD sets in installment (such as Desperate Housewives).

Viva is following Magna's lead and doing a Battlestar Galatica S2.5.  But unlike Battlestar, this is 100% Viva's fault. Smiley  Nah, Volume 1, should be just around the corner.

I was thinking they priced it a 1,200 when their last TV set Brothers and Sisters goes for 1,900, I believe Lost has a bigger fanbase.  I was about to applaud their pricing decision and support them by buying the set.   But at 2,400, I won't, I 'll wait for it to go on sale or get the R1.   I hate Viva (and Magnavision's) insistence on using full Amaray instead of slimline cases (like R1).

It would be very odd to split Season 4 into two installments since it only had 13 episodes. If this is a 3 (or 4) disc set, you're pretty sure this will be the complete fourth season.

I didn't see how many discs it contains, but I guess it's around 3 or 4 based on the thickness of the box. From what you said, this could be the complete fourth season set after all. But it's just weird that they have to put "Volume 2" on it. Common sense makes you ask, where's Volume 1?

I haven't seen this yet in any Astro store. I spotted in in Music One Greenbelt and Odyssey MOA.

This is really bizarre, because at about 43 minutes per episode: 43 mins. x 13 episodes = 559 mins.

And that's for the entire season.  Huh

I saw this title the other day at Tower Records in Glorietta. I'm surprised that it got released way earlier than the Region 1 version, which is slated to be released in December.

all other R3 releases have 6-discs as well.. the thai and the korean releases have 6-discs.. discs 1 and 2 contain episodes 1-7 then discs 3 and 4 have episodes 8-14.. discs 5 and 6 are the bonus features.. so I guess it follows that our version would get 6-discs as well..

The total time is probably copied over from the full R1 set, 559 minutes + delete scenes would probably be 600+ minutes.  My guess is that volume 2 would also list the same 600+ minutes. Smiley
