There goes my php 275 Casino Royale budget Grin

Can't resist the beauty of this DVD, the saleslady said that they only got one copy, that's what forced me to snag this copy hehe!

hmmm. kaya pala sale na yung 2 disc....I'm just wondering kung limited lang itong collectors edition Huh

Saw this too earlier at Astro SM Makati. I opted not to buy it because I'm content with my old 2-Disc Special Edition. This 3-Disc set has no DTS and while it's an imported set, I did find misprints on the back cover. I would buy this if there are other goodies inside that thick box, though.

This might not be a good buy (for now) for those who already got the 2 discer, (like me  Grin )., since I will be paying just for the 3rd disc and the digi-pack.

Okay...I'll just close my eyes.... Lips sealed

I opened my eyes, and the DVD was already in my hands  :'(

They took away the DTS track to accommodate new features and a commentary on Disc 1. Disc 2 remains the same and Disc 3 is a set of brand new features.

Where pala? All I saw were some really microscopic liner credits that had missing letters.

They're ok. Barely even readable at that size.

There are still three copies left at Astro Robinsons place Manila.

Packaging-wise, this is the best Magnavision had released in a long time.  This one of those where (if you are a dvd collector) when you paid 1,250 and would not feel cheated.  You feel  satisfied even when you see the single disc available for only 199...

Here's hoping more Magnavision releases are like this...

Looking at my DVD library plus some research, I realized a few days ago na when it comes to the DVD packaging of Magna Releases, yung from Sony Pictures (Columbia/Tristar) lang ang may:

imported slipcase
e.g: Casino Royale 2-disc, Spider-man 3, Hancock 2-Disc, DaVinci Code, Ghost Rider Extended Version

imported cover art in amaray case
e.g: (Spider-man 2, Godzilla, Desperado) > got them during initial releases

Its more like the Fox releases of Viva.

By the time na mag rerestock na sila nga mga old titles (incl. Sony releases), dun na maglalabasan ang budget edition like quality ng packaging nila (I think the same goes with the disc as well).

Unlike their Universal Pictures and Paramount DVD's (new release or re-releases/re-stock) na talagang locally printed ang cover and slipcases e.g. Incredible Hulk & Indy 4 (save for transformers na imported nga ang slipcase, di naman match sa locally printed amaray art).  Grin

Kaya nung nakita ko ang post above with the pictures..... hmmmmmm... butas nanaman ang bulsa... hehehehe! pero will have to wait pa kasi di pa dumadating stocks dto. HOPEFULLY by tomorrow meron na... hehehehehe!

Just an observation... Cheesy

para tuloy hindi magna release ito dahil sa ganda ng packaging. Grin sulit talaga yung 1250 mo dito.

hopefully mag improve na lahat ng packaging ng magna sa mga susunod na mga releases. karamihan kasi sa mga releases nila ang pangit ng quality ng printing, ang lalabo. parang hindi tuloy na ja-justify yung pricing. like in my case, ang tagal ko ng gustong bumili ng no country for old men kaya lang wala pa akong makitang imported stock. yung mga nakikita ko ngayon eh yung locally printed, ang labo nung cover art. parang na release 10 years ago pa, mukhang luma. i dont want to pay 695 pesos kung ganoon lang ang quality, parang lugi naman ako non. kahit on sale pa siguro di ko parin bibilhin.
