I think with the upgrade need for our units, we should know people who own the same kind of unit.

i heard na baka madali raw masira ng PS3 lens kun parating gamit as Blu ray player.

im planning to buy ps3 kasi this coming dec. and isa sa gusto ko e as blu ray player na.ok lang po ba to?sorry medu OT.

thanks sir jojitv. just finished updating the firmware. i don't have a single bluray disc but i discovered that it's a decent upscaler and plays an assortment of P&#@*#d dvds, some of which don't play on my pio dv410.

yup.  ganda nga nung deal.  actually, yung circular nung Best Buy, posted $199 for the Samsung 1500, $250 for the S350.   pagdating ko sa store, aba, tinapat yung presyo ng samsung!  bitbit na ako ng isa shempre.  as guys around here stated, pampahinga sa PS3 (which i only use practically for watching BDs anyway.) yung S350.

anyways, yung kaibigan ko dyan, nalaman yung presyo. nagpabili sakin.  papgpunta ko ng store (which was close to end of business), wiped out yung S350!  andami pang natirang Samsung.  i ordered online (and chose pick up sa ibang branch na meron daw stock).  kinabukasan, got email from BB na wala din daw sa store. 

long story short (3 days after), i opted to call BB, and requested for the unit to be shipped na lang (libre naman sihpping), pero siniguro ko na price protected ako.  now, my friend's S350 is on its way at $217 lang (kasama na tax).  excited na kaibigan ko dyan!

anyway, after being absent from this forum for 5 years (since i joined in '02), it's such a delight to discover (only yesterday), that the forum is bustling with new energy and new discussions.  am so glad to have rejoined all of you.
