Problem watching a DVD on computer.....

I bought Robots on DVD (region 3) and played it on my PC. My problem is that every few seconds the audio starts to sound like it's vibrating. Can someone help me? Also another question how I can't watch region 1 DVDs on my computer? I remembered along time ago I use to watch region 1 DVDs and now I can't. Any help is appreciated. Thank You.

You need a small program like DVD REGION + CSS FREE in order for you to by pass all regional codes on your DVD player/PC...

Since it's a PC, the usual practice is to decrypt the DVD into files, making it region free and you'll watch via your hard disc drive, less strain and longer mileage for your optical drive.

Now if you want to utilize your optical drive the best remedy is to download DVD43 or better yet AnyDVD, works on th e fly,and makes your optical drive region free.

I'll hijack this thread for another DVD viewing issue with computers.

I use PowerDVD when viewing DVDs on my PC. Does PowerDVD automatically upscale the video to a higher resolution or do I need to get another software to upscale the video?

From what I know, it upscales to your Videocard resolution.

Ganun ba? Kasi whenever I play DVDs, I see pixelizations on certain scenes.

Then the bit rate is low....this happens when the video card is the one upscaling, why don't you try to transfer the files into the Hard Disc either via Vob or Iso files,and observe...because another thing that leads to pixelization is the condition of the disc,wherein the burns were not properly polished or "Buffered".

I am only watching them on my PC until I buy a DVD player.
