Wow! Where did you see this? Is it Region 1?

Don't get your hope high.  Studio World will hate me for this...  This is nothing like the R1 version which is double-amaray width in size in a sturdy cardboard box, with hardcover book and watch.  The R3 version looks like the box on the right of the pic above, single amaray width but probably in digipak.   Probably just discs, given the size of it.  Since I did not buy it, this is an educated guess.

It should be noted that R1 is limited and NUMBERED.  The R3 is probably not.  Although, no indication on the box that it is R3, since there are no details on the box.    Another overpriced Magnavision/Studio World release.  Should be 1500 (1950 max) not 2950, given the negatives I pointed out.

The One positive of the R3 is that it include a CD, which doesn't seem to be in the R1 version.

Pssst.... did you know that Amazon have the R1 for $45 (sans CD) right now? That's cheaper than the local release with all the extra stuff.  But be prepared to pay a ton for s&h, this one's heavy.  Or better yet, future proof yourself and get the Bluray LE.

Can you tell me at which shops please, since as of yesterday, SM Megamall, SM Sta. Mesa and V-Mall all didn't have The Hangover on DVD yet - just on VCD and Blu-ray. Want to get it before Christmas.

Go to Odyssey V-Mall, they have the DVD of The Hangover, I just bought mine 2 days ago.

Thanks guys. Just came from V Mall. Very odd - Astro still does not have it, while Odyssey does.

Opted not to buy it, though, since I saw that it was the theatrical version. Ordered the Unrated R1, instead.

^ I just came from Astro Robinson's Place Manila and they have The Hangover for P750. Didn't buy it. And I'll probably do the same thing and just get the unrated R1 version. Same with District 9 (Viva Release).

By the way, I saw the Wizard of Oz 5-disc DVD set for P2950. The price of the Blu-Ray version? Exactly the same
