HMV at Citylink Mall

Also try Robinsons (?) mall right beside Swissotel. There are a number of shops selling R1 and R3 DVDs there. There are also some DVD/CD shops along one floor of Suntec, near the gadget and gaming shops.

For orig R3 dvd, they can order to this number 9798-2668.  Price much cheaper compared to the shops here.

just saw this thread now so it's probably too late.

singapore old hands don't buy [original] dvd/blu-ray discs locally, unless there's a very significant closeout sale.  places like hmv are just too overpriced (with ang moh expat packages and prime rents to pay, their overhead is just too high!).

the way to go is amazon.com (yup, the states).  the selection is superb, standard international shipping takes just 2 weeks (shortest ever for me was 8 days), and the shipped prices are lower than in singapore shops.

obviously, no instant gratification, but hey, one can't have it all.  hope this helps.

another late reply but just to share, if you're looking for R1 DVDs in SG the cheapest that I've come to know of are from Laser Flair or MJ multimedia. There's branches in Funan Mall, Suntec, AMK hub etc. But do note that most of the stocks if not all are R1 Canadian  Grin

IMHO SG locally pressed R3 are sub par in quality so better avoid these releases if you're coming to SG..as people always say, still the best place to satisfy your dvd/blus craving is from Amazon..cheers!!!

DVD's here are quite expensive compared to Manila. But you can try at any Laser Flair shop usually got sale.

Are u in SG now? Hope we can meet bro.

Haha. Too late. I've already been there and back. I picked up a few titles that aren't available in the Philippines.

Actually, Blu-Rays are cheaper in Singapore than here.
