Just to clarify, sa Mr. Dynamic 14,800 lang? And in i-Tech it's 15,200? Both stores are owned by Percey. 

My friends went to Mr. Dynamic last Thursday. one of 'em bought an XBOX game and the other inquired for the PS3 slim price. I can confidently say, "yes". Mr. Dynamic sells it at a lower price. Kaya ako nabwiset kahapon sa saleslady ng market market.

Just texted Percey last night. The US PS3 Slim is selling at 17390. It's 16500 for cash purchases. Two week warranty on parts and 6 months service warranty.

I was surprised at the price increase. I wonder how much Datablitz is selling their US Slim.

Hirap kase bumili knowing they've sold it a lot cheaper before - and with mass-produced technology, prices are bound to go down and never up. baka next year may bundled games pa for almost the same amount.

not really other than PS1 disc and DVD region compatibility. I guess the US version is just more expensive to import.

I called Mr. Dynamic yesterday afternoon to check on prices and apparently, the price difference between i-Tech and Mr. Dynamic is huge. I forgot how much the US version is selling for (I think around 16,500) but the Asian version can be had for 14,800. They told me that I won't be able to get the price they offer at i-Tech. I guess the price difference reflects the higher overhead cost of maintaining a mall branch.

Fortunately, I won't have to worry about where to get my new Slim because my sister surprised me with a US unit last night. I'm a happy boy.

Actually surprise gift ng sister ko from the US. I told her hati na lang kami sa cost and she agreed. But when I woke up around 1am, a friend of hers who just arrived for a vacation brought the unit to our house. I'm now playing the hell out of Uncharted 2 multiplayer.

Just bought the ps3 slim 120 gb at game one gadget for only 14700 php.

Bought my PS3 Slim at MR Dynamic (Greenhills) for 15,590 (via cc).  Cash price was P14,700.

Also bought an extra wireless controller and 1 game Tekken 6).  Total damage was P20k.

Wow nice prices ha ... market prices really works pag may competition sa mga stores, i usually go to buy at GH kasi pababaan ng prices kasi lahat sila sa virramall same versions lang. 14.7k is a really good price, got mine at 18k pa mid 2009.

sana ganun din sa prices ng games, so far Data Blitz ako kasi mas mababa ang price nila sa PS3 games

Sir yun pong US typically 110v, more importantly yung region coding ng games, dvds and BDs. kung mas marami kang asian region games and bds and dvds, go for the asian version.

AFAIK the blu ray games do not have region lock.

Blu ray movies do.
