Neverending Story (mkv) -The story is likeable specially for young kids. The first time I saw this, I was just amazed at the special effects but think of it now with all the CGI, etc., this isn't as astounding. Electronic fantasy soundtrack was great. There was just limitation in the transfer inspite of the HD upscaling, the picture was still grainy.  It was a worthwhile watch with my daughter.

Made of Honor (mkv) -My wife saw this title in one of my downloads and really wanted to see this. Thought this was a mushy sleeper but the interest and comedy kept me awake the whole time. Patrick Dempsey still has the charm and the wit for the ladies. Somehow I would compare this with My Bestfriend's Wedding but the other way around...go figure it out. A perfect date movie.

Edward Scissorhands (mkv) -Tim Burton and Johnny Depp really make a great pair in making those gothic movies. I downloaded the 1080p version and the colors and clarity were just outstanding. The colorful houses and women's clothes really bring out the best in your display. On close up, you can really see Johnny Depp's make up. This is one of the movies that I like watching again after a long remission.

Another Cinderella Story (mkv) -another of those teener bopper movies that I have to watch with my daughter. Selena Gomez really looked young for her age. It was an enjoyable movie but has its age group to cater to.  Everytime I watch these kinds of movies, I feel that I'm getting older....

Yup sounded like 'Athul' to me as in Athulla the Hun? I usually do not activate the subtitles when I am watching movies but I should've in this with their weird accents. Just looking for the time for a 2nd viewing....thanks for the advice! |

Unstable Fables-3 Pigs and a Baby (avi) -A modern day spoof of the 3 little pigs story just like Hoodwinked's little red riding hood. Very good animation by Jim Henson although in AVI format really looked good on my PJ. The story is hilarious and would be enjoyed even by adults.

Team America:World Police (avi) -I remember Thunderbirds while I was watching this movie. It has its own gore, foulmouth language and "sex" considering that the actors were only puppets. Imagine its theme song "America F**K Yeah". This is a funny movie. Even if the strings of the puppets are visible and the movements are so crude, I just find their actions in a way humorous specially the action scene nearing the end. Personas of Alec Baldwin and the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il as the "bad guy who wants to rule the world" were comically represented. I would definitely watch this again if I have the appetite for a good laugh. Definitely not for kids!
