got my cignal installed today, tanong ko lang ilang days ba ma activated ang account? sabi kasi ng installer mga 3 days pa daw ma activate. right now channel 5 lang ang gumana.
sir, activated na ba ngayon ung account mo? gaano katagal since ma install? as of now pending application ko sa cignal eh. thanks!

nung nagpa install ako, the account was activated 30 mins after installation, prepaid nga lang yun, ewan ko sa postpaid. When I have it converted from postpaid to prepaid, it was activated the day after ko ma submit requirements (via email).
tip lang. base sa experience ko mas ok makipag usap sa local cignal partner (in my case, laguna) kesa sa hotline. when i was calling cignal hotline, it took 2 days wala pa nangyayari sa application ko (convertion of postpaid to prepaid). out of frustration, i called the local cignal partner in my area, ayun a couple of hours and email exchanges later, na process agad.
Cignal should really look into improving their customer service. Pero guys, wag kayo madala. right now, cignal ang pinaka sulit when you want HD content, even their premium channels (in SD) is better in PQ compared to sky. Tyaga lang sa customer service muna.

I agree, ako walang problema sa local agent ko, minsan sya pa nagfofollow up sakin, pero yung sa hotline, forget it.

may gumagamit na ba dito ng 2 Cignal Box? any ideas kung magkano ang payment kapag 2 ang cignal box?? sa Sky Digibox kapag mag add ka ng Digibox sa subscription mo for another tv at home eh +300 lang for the box pero same billing pa rin...
Natanong ko lang, kasi last time I asked eh 1:1 ang ratio. so kapag may second tv ka, doble subscription babayaran mo....
Also may Pacquiao Margarito na? Di ko pa natanong hehe.. wala pa kasi display sa PPV HD Channel ko... unlike dati may display na kapag meron na sila PPV

Yeah activated na last night, 2 days since na installed ang unit. Tanong ko lang sa mga naka HD, blocked ba ang HBO channel 43? kasi sa akin blocked.

 Dahil sa pagbabasa ko dito I decided na magpakabit din ng cignalTV plan 990 last tuesday. They said na by thursday maikakabit na. So tumawag ng thursday at hindi raw maikakabit friday na lang daw afternoon. I waited again the whole afternoon after canceling lahat ng lakad ko, hindi sila dumating. I was informed 7pm na hindi na sila darating. When they learned that im mad they said na kami na uunahin first thing in the morning today. Ayun kakatawag lang hindi na naman daw pwede ngayung umaga mamayang hapon na namn daw. What time they don't know. Talking about SERVICE. Ang worry ko installation pa lang palpak na paano pa kaya pag nagloko service nila as in me problema signal? All I can say to myself is good luck to me..........

Went to the local dealer here in Sta. Maria Bulacan...I asked if it possbile to upgrade my 390 prepaid subscription to the 590 prepaid....not possible daw..iba pala ang decoder. I should have known better. Wala pala hdmi connection sa likod yung SD Decoder. Anyway they told me it will cost me a new installation to get the HD broadcast..
I just renewed for another 2 months.

Thats what happen to me, hirap maka tawag sa kanila, i was able to cintact and applied after so many tries, then they told me to wait for their call, so the next nag follow up call ako, they told me to email my requirement, i told them that is all ready but wala ako scanner to scan my proof of billing and ID, i told them ill give it personally to the installer. so i waited again for their call, wala pa rin tumawag sa akin, so i check their partner and called them, after talking to them they saiid bukas na daw ma install cause afternoon na ako tumawag, the next its installed and activated in 2 days.

Bro, mukhang makapal ang rain clouds dahil sa bagyo, ordinary clouds kaya pa makasagap pero pag makakapal at puno ng precipitation, nakaka apekto din sa signal. Kasi pansin ko din kahit malakas ang ulan di naman nawawala signal ni cignal. btw, wala pang broadcast ang NBA Premium HD, kailan kaya ito? Walang Signal ang cignal ko right now, dahil sa bagyo? Di naman malakas ang ulan dito samen sa obando

Sa Bocaue lang ako...kapag medyo malakas ang ulan..nawawala na ang signal. I don't know if fine tuning the satellite orientation would help. Its only 3 to 4 bars on strenght and quality kas eh.

may i ask, is it possible to record the shows via DVR? kasi, most of the scheduled shows palabas pag office hours, pagdating sana sa bahay, dun papanoorin ie NBA HD.. anybody, na nakapag-try na nito? HD rin ba ang output pag narecord?

At last na installed na din kanina ng cignal ung sa amin waiting na lang sa activation. hoping it wont take days i heard others only took several hours.
I wish kapag activated na eh sulit talaga ung pag shift ko from skycable kung saan ako ay 12+ years loyal subcriber.
Bad trip lang talaga ako sa customer service nila dahil 3 beses na re-schedule ung pag install sa akin without advise from them. kung hindi pa ako tumawag hindi nila malalaman na walang dumating para mag install. Napaka hirap pang tumawas sa kanila!

i have the same observations. Thanks for answering bro, hindi pala ko nag iisa. So normal na sakit ng cable box to.... due for firmware upgrade maybe? to others complaining about customer service, I feel for you bros. I've had my share of frustrations dealing with Cignal's customer service that I almost gave up my application. Tiis lang muna, I assure you it's worth it. If its HD content that you are after, Cignal, right now, is the best choice. Let me reiterate that dealing with the local service provider is a workaround to customer service woes with cignal, cignal hotline is just a pain at the moment.

Regarding the Cable box, any body using this going to an AVR receiver?
I noticed when using HDMI to AV receiver for both audio and video, I can only get 2ch PCM no matter what setting for audio output is set to on the Humax.
But when I use HDMI for video and OPTICAL for audio going to the receiver, I get dolby from HD channels.
Anyone having the same experience?
