I sincerely hope so.  I liked Cignal up till a few days ago.  I even recommended and defended it.

I for one will transfer our subscriptions to Sky if not.

That is SkyCable. But I heard G-Sat has worse quality than Cignal (and missing required SD Channels like Disney and Cartoon Network) but is cheaper (300 for SD and 600 for SD+HD).

Cignal should be adding hd channels to the existing plans and not take them away or move them to higher plans...
I for one got the the 1290 plan last year because of their hd line up esp yun HISTORY HD!
Badtrip if they move history hd to the upcoming higher plan to force us to upgrade!
Mas badtrip din if totally mawala din yun History HD!

i heard from customer service that cignal will add Universal HD channel for 1590 subscribers. exciting!!!

I subscribed to cignal because of its HD lineup.  I feel cheated too that in order for them to add some HD channels, they had to remove existing ones.... booo on removing History HD.

Lets see, cignal you have the most HD lineup (compared to sky) when you are starting.  Now, sky has caught up.  Di pa naman final, I will be patiently watching the transformation and hope that it is good.  If not, then I am switching... I am sure, many subscribers are thinking like me.

I think they will have atleast 16 channels at Cignal. Which is definitely more than SkyCable. But the price is way higher which is..

It is but normal for some subs who are really into a particular channel to act like one.
I've seen it a couple of times, whenever a channel lease period ends and not renewed.
the problem is, this channel providers jack up their fees that service providers has to play with the pricing in terms of channel offering in order to still give the best alternative.

a service provider will either request for a lower price or not to avail the channel at all due to stiff price.
and History HD is one PREMIUM channel that may have a high price.

Ganyan nangyari sa akin with Destiny Cable. Dati akong Sky Cable subscriber enjoying BTV channel.
Nawala sa Sky napunta sa Destiny kaya nag Destiny ako. Tapos after a few years nawala din sa Destiny.
Kaya ako nag Cignal kse meron nang NBA Premium, meron pang BTV (NBA addict here).

Petium4, me chanece bang lumitaw History HD sa plan 1590? Also, if I am a with plan 1290 (another year lockout) pwede ba akong mag upgrade sa plan 1590?

QUESTION: How does one prevent rain water from entering the LNB? I'm already on my third LNB in just 19 months. The last one was half filled with water. Can the LNB seams where water might be coming in be dabbed with a little silicone sealant? Is the white cap of the LNB of porous material (although it looks plastic) because if it is then water might also be entering through there.

At last new HD channels. Not bad upgrading from plan 1290 to plan 1590. You'll get an additional 5 HD channel. Looking forward for the Universal HD.

Just noticed, wala na yung History HD!!! And even the regular History HD wala narin!! I hope they'll change that or pwede sana mag request. That was one of the channels that i often tune in to.

This is really so disappointing.  Cignal can't just pull the plug on History HD cause it was one of the primary reasons people gambled and jumped on their channel.  Now that they got their consumer base, it seems like they're pulling a 'bait & switch' strategy.

The replacement channels are NOT commensurate to the market value of History  or Bio for that matter.  It also covers a new genre which totally screws up the HD diet of the ones who adopted Cignal.  We should make our voices be heard!  If you're frustrated with this unilateral move and want to peacefully express your discontent, please just LIKE the "Bring Back History on Cignal" page on Facebook. 

Then spread the word so that the Cignal/Mediascape guys will heed our call and do some corrective actions.  Is this the way they will repay the customers who flocked to their side when they were just starting out?
