Title: Help!!! Channel set-up problem with new Samsung LCD TV
Post by: ntcanete on Dec 23, 2009 at 12:04 AM
Guys,
Got a new 32" Samsung LCD TV from Singapore and when I started setting it up (storing the channels from SkyCable), I found out that the sound system only has BG, D/K, I and L --> no M!  >:( >:(

Color system is ok (PAL, NTSC, Auto) but bottomline, I cannot tune in properly and the TV is basically useless. I tried to get SkyCable's Digibox but there was still no digital service in our area. I also bought an audio/video converter from Park Square today but also did not work.

Do you know where I can get the correct converter -- which I presume will receive the M signal and convert it to either BG, D/K, I or L that the TV can receive?

Many thanks for your replies!

that problem is quite common. Yes the audio will not work. But using a channel converter should do the trick. You should get audio with the channel converter. Double check your setup and change it to other a/v inputs on the tv.
