Title: Van Den Hul D102 mkIII
Post by: jakob14 on Sep 05, 2010 at 09:28 PM: Saw a store in MCS selling VDH D102 mkiii by the meter and I am interested in acquiring one. I did some research on the net and found out that this IC's costs a lot compared to the one being sold at MCS (the price difference is about 60% lower). Magkapareho lang kaya sila? thanks

me too, ive been wondering if its the real thing or not, considering a lot of imitations are sold online with the same characteristics...

Post by: looks on Sep 15, 2010 at 08:06 AM: they are a decent shop naman. they probably won't sell fake ics but then again, just to be sure. better ask the seller kung saan galing yung ic, if its from HK or china.for its price, it maybe a replica. dami nagkalat doon na fake/replica ics. audioquest is one of them too. just be cautious in buying.if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't. remember, we get what we pay for. unless magpapalugi sila or 2nd hand yan.

check mo kung "mukang bago ang spool" at dapat kumpleto tatak.
ang mahirap sa vdh minsan "iba-iba" ang shade ng kulay at nagfe-fade ang tatak. nagkaron na ako nyan mid-90s pa. maaari din nos latak na stock from LIS smmega, kasi noon sila ang nagbebenta ng vdh by the meter from spool/rolls.

MCS = Makati Cinema Square. Sa may Arnaiz and Chino Roces bro. :)
