Title: What is backlight bleeding?
Post by: brycks on Jun 06, 2012 at 10:48 AM
Ask ko lang po, I'am planning to buy LCD/LED TV, but I've noticed that there are some TV which have backlight bleeding problem?

Pano po b malalaman kung  meron ganitong problema ang TV. Is it noticeable during the audition?

Thanks!

It's difficult to check when the demo area is well lit. Kelangan talaga dark yung area.. then dont play anything and wait until your eyes adjusted sa dilim.. The TV should be on and blank lang.. Once adjusted na yung mata mo, all you will see is the illumination of the TV and then the magic of detecting backlight bleeding begins.. Sometimes it sucks in knowing this kasi everytime na lang yun ang mapapansin mo he he he

Once you see it you cannot unsee the backlight bleeding specially if you watch in a dark environment. Unless you are prepared to invest more on an OLED TV then my suggestion is not to look for it or you can just read reviews for TV's that have minimal backlight bleeding.
