question lang po ... can old 305's be upgraded to eliminate the lip sync glitch? with there be some fee to have this done or is it free? ... i noticed also that the preference menu can no longer be accessed in the new 315s... is this normal?

wow...
finally we have a true Techpoint service center authorized spokesperson in our midst. This will make nextbase owners feel more secured na nababantayan tayo lagi, and hopefully, Techpoint will regularly check on the Nextbase Thread to see any quirks, problems, suggestions or praise (!!!) their players are giving to the patronzing public.
I hope Techpoint will continue to be with us here, and hope they will be very accomodating indeed.

i'm just wondering, can the nextbase 9000 without DTS be upgraded para magka dts sya? ???
i want to feel the night and day differences between dd and dts.

unless you got home theater speaker set up in place (working 5.1 speaker that is ha) plus a theater like ambiance movie room (heavy curtains, acoustic ceilings, carpetted floors), i suspect you might NOT hear any audio differences between the two systems: dolby digital versus dts.
my opinion lang ha. might be dts will come out LOUDER, MORE REFINED, PRONOUNCED, but mind blowing? i doubt.

Im selling Nextbase dvd player in our office and friends so far i didnt encounter any problem. Regarding their services excellent! Kaya guys mag NEXT BASE DVD player na kayo instead of other brand. Mahirap na bumili ng hindi kilala na brand.

does it have a built in fan? making the unit smaller would mean tighter circuit space thus sacrificing better heat dissipation, dapat me built in fan to.

but any info on this new issue regarding MV-783:
I saw this at watson sa quiapo,3400 ang price nila,unfortunately the owner didn't recommend it because he told me that this new model has a problem on its program, nag-i-skip daw,even orig ang i-play.
ibabalik pa nila sa dealer to correct the problem,btw,out of stock na ang 315 and 305.even in raon shopping center,limited na supply nila.
this just came from the Nextbase DVD thread. Let's just hope it's just a software problem, if not - malaking problema to. :(

I dont believe that there is a problem with this new model. coz michael has already sold a lot no problem was encountered. So this is safe and besides there is a warranty. Some people just criticizing NB coz they are the competitors. Just trust yourself to which brand you are buying be confident..... believe me no errors on NB.

For those who have bought the NB-783 model kindly shed some light and confirm if there is any truth to the matter that it's claimed as "being defective" by Watson in the NB thread ::) I'm planning to buy one pa naman sana for my parents :)

since this issue was posted for almost a week now and since you knew michael, maybe you could ask him to give us some comments regarding the MV-783's issues.
i'm sure it is a part of the NB distributor's excellent service to shed some light on the matter. Besides, this is the Next Base Service Center thread right? :-\

Correction on my post, it's just a misunderstanding. This new model MV-783 was not recommended to me by watson's personnel b-coz the one that I saw on their display window was defective, and was just recently returned by their buyer as according to them.But that doesn't mean that all of this new model were defective. Maybe they just want to be honest with their customer, as they told me that they don't want to sell that one or the other in their stock room until they're sure that it is in good condition. They will just returned it to the distributor to check the problem first,then they will sell it again.I hope this will clear the issue o defective NB player. BTW,I did took instead a NB9000-305 at Raon shopping center,b-coz watson already don't have stocks of old model at that time.

hi. just bought a nextbase 783 from watsons the other day. then proceeded watching 5 movies in succession non-stop (orig and bootleg dvd's). no problem whatsoever. i'm happy with this player. :)

where is the location of this service center? do they sell remote controls specifically for the nextbase 9000 champagne gold?

buti na lang a meron nang authorized service center ang nextbase... san ba ang complete address ng techpoint at tel # nila. balak kasi bumili ng brother ko ng player with speakers na (ns200, ns400). so kung meron sa inyong me alam paki post na lang po..

mga bossing where po kaya sa quezon city pwede kong pa repair yung nextbase dvd ko? sabi kasi sa megamall where i bought the unit is sa binondo pa, masyadong malayo ito sa akin. tnx. ang problem po pala ay walang ilaw yung display at power led nya, at yung mga buttons ay wala ring silbi, kahit remote, pero may naiwang dvd disk sa tray ay nag pa-play naman pag on ko.

im also looking for a place to have my nextbass player repaired...wierd, pero it seems to work randomly. sometimes walang problema, i can play it for hours... other times ayaw talaga mag-on. already tried using a voltage reg, pero ganun pa rin.

i just bought a nextbase s200 ht in a box. ok naman sya when playing dvd's.
may problem lang when i play audio cd's, mp3's, and video-cd's.
the player hangs in some parts of the discs eventually. dont know what triggers this, pero almost all of my discs, ganun nangyayari.
i had the unit replaced twice, pero ganun pa rin. it can't be the discs naman, kasi puro original naman mga audio cd's ko and they play fine on other players.
anyone know what's goin on?

Where can I have my Nextbase player repaired? I'm not sure if it has a Techpoint sticker. I bought this unit from the Nintendo Shop at Greenhills more than a year ago.

the nextbase i bought for my kids conked out on them only this month...
puro "no disc"...even tried lens cleaners pero ala pa rin nangyari...
jan 2003 ko binili sa watsons...
tingnan ko kung kaya i-repair or kung mahal aabutin baka ibili ko na lang sila ulet ng generic player...
ano na nga ba ang magaling na player aside from nextbase...

Ako rin. Saan ba pwedeng mag-pa-repair ng Next Base? May Techpoint sticker yung sa kin pero nag-expire na yata yung warranty. Ayaw na magbasa ng DVD at CD eh, pero sa VCD ok lang, gumagana pa rin.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before and have tried searching, wala ako makuha info.
Its my friend's Nextbase NB-783. Ayaw bumukas ang door. Already brought it sa Golden Sound sa Virra Mall 2nd flr (where we bought it). Ang sabi board na daw ang problem and charging us 2,200! We bought this last Feb of this year. Ang warranty daw is 1 yr on service, 6 mons on parts. We're not sure if Nextbase mismo ang tumingin pero we doubt it kaya ngayon we're looking for the authorized service center.
help naman pls. mga peeps. salamat in advance!

help! my nb785 just got busted after 1 year 7 months. ayaw na mag-on! don't know what happen. last time i used it last wk ok pa naman... should i have it serviced at techpoint or mas gagastos lang ako and better buy a new one?
