Title: Vikings
Post by: the_w0rks on Mar 06, 2013 at 04:37 PM: looks promising. I just previewed the first episode which was released a few days ago. Let's see how it goes.

It's actually good. First episode was very promising. Peasant farmer viking goes against his lord's wishes and sets sail to the west to discover new places. Good acting, good production. I say, it's worth a try

meron na ba episode 2? It's suppose to air march 10 pa kasi.

It's a webrip taken from History's website. They put up the first 2 episodes there already. It's legit. It really is Episode 2.

Anyway, this is one of the few TV shows I intend to follow from start to finish. I think it lacks savagery or atrocity known with Viking age (or at least I associate the Vikings with) but it's good enough for a drama series. Casting Gabriel Byrne and Katheryn Winnick was a big plus. Ragnar Lothbrok is known to have more than 1 wife but I hope they keep Katheryn Winnick for season 2.
