through some connections...nakarating sa kanila yung request nung pamangkin ko na makita sila and they did visit her sa hospital. was the best day ever for my niece. may she rest in peace :)

In their morning news magazine show on Tuesday, Martin Andanar of TV5 asked co-anchor Lourd de Veyra if Aquino looked like her mother, the late President Corazon Aquino.
De Veyra took a second look at her photo and said she reminded him of Cynthia Luster (real name Yukari Oshima), a famous Japanese movie star and martial arts expert in the 1980s to 1990s who also acted in action films in the Philippines.

I don't think it was colonial mentality sir. Sakin it was a question of proper decorum. It was not the right forum to bring it up. What she was trying to do was more of one-upmanship. And it was totally out of line. Siguro if this was an interview for her magazine or TV show pwede pa. But this was arranged by the studio who made the movie. Not by ABS CBN.

The best way to show anyone that you're better than them is to actually be better than them. As Matthew 5:39 tells us, "If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also." Although if it's Kris Aquino, I'd probably slap her all the way to Cabanatuan. From Quiapo.

With all the flak Kris Aquino is getting, I wouldn't be surprised if we see her shedding crocodile tears again on national TV (playing the victim card again) beside Boy Abunda, and, not surprisingly, that show's ratings will spike as over half the country will be listening to every word she says.

I've been watching KrisTV for work. One of the things I dislike about Kris Aquino is her strange habit of treating her non-celebrity guests (i.e. the guests who are cooks, business owners, etc. of restaurants and other various businesses featured on the show) like celebrities by asking them probing personal questions often irrelevant to the reason why they are featured. Must we know about who the nutrition chef is dating or why she broke up with her first husband? It's annoying.
I also dislike the way she flaunts her religiosity. She's merely confirming my stance on organized religion.

I did get that kind of impression, too. Parang biglang kambyo siya sa nature ng hosting material niya. From showhiz to public service. The Go Negosyo program she hosted is a surprising way to re-enter into TV exposure. (Okay, I give it to her, Kris made a boring program bearable and interesting.)
I also did get the impression that DU30 simply made up the migraine thing. A lame excuse alright, but DU30 possibly thought he would be "used" to jumpstart Kris' re-entry to public consciousness. And DU30 didn't want to be a part of her scheme.

Kris Aquino has once again proven herself the ultimate Crazy Rich Asian as she shared that she may attend the Crazy Rich Asians Hollywood premiere on August 7, but only if she gets permission from a “super big food brand” she endorses.
Kris posted the invite to the premiere in an Instagram post on July 25, with the aim of inspiring anyone who has “had doubts about the future because of the burdens of today.”
She shared that she “was at practically back to zero” when she auditioned for Crazy Rich Asians on March 25, 2017, and was shocked when they started filming on June 14 that same year.
Kris has yet to reveal her mystery role in the film – and we’re surprised she’s managed to keep mum about it for so long – though she did mention that her character would be wearing a Michael Cinco creation, and that a photo of her in costume would be a giveaway to her role.

Who should care enough to judge if she's using her own money though? It's her money that she's earned as a celebrity and endorser. If she wants / feels the need to have herself checked up in SG for whatever reason, then she can do so as she wishes since she's the one spending on it anyway.
And spending tons of money on your own accord to have something build exactly to the specifications you are comfortable with vs having tons of money stolen from you by someone you trusted are two incredibly different things.

I recently watched the news and saw how the poor were desperately searching for the elusive NFA rice, when the regular ones reached P50+. Some of them actually broke down in tears. :(
As the saying goes: "Money can't buy you Class"
Oh wow, we're talking about class in the context of Kris Aquino's actions? In a country with so many corrupt politicians who have ill-gotten wealth and members of government agencies posting crass videos online, we are implying that a media giant such as Kris doesn't have class just because she is stating facts about her life and you're misconstruing it to make it seem like she's "bragging"?
This is the same Kris Aquino who some years ago donated a house a month for a year for underprivileged families, those affected by natural disasters, and who donates regularly to churches and charitable institutions... is also regularly called out on social media by bashers because she apparently "flaunts" her charitable works... then later on more bashers will chastise her for "bragging" about her wealth without helping the poor. Sala sa init, sala sa lamig.
In a way she reminds of Lebron James: Si Lebron wala daw loyalty. Mayabang daw. But if you take a step back and look at his storied career, he's competed and won at basketball's highest level with consistency, he's recognized as one of the greatest ever to play the game, he's married to his HS sweetheart, has 3 kids that no one has anything but praises for, he's never been involved in any scandals related to sex, violence, or drugs, he gives back to his community... but at the end of the day andami pa din niyang haters. Ang labo lang.
I digress, but it's the same with Kris: She earned her money through hard work. She's consistently been one of the BIR's top taxpayers. Wala siyang krimen. Tumutulong siya sa mahihirap. Supportive siya sa pag-angat ng careers ng ibang young actors and actresses. Pero mabanggit niya lang na magpapadoktor siya sa ibang bansa mayabang na siya agad?
Tsk tsk... ibang tao talaga may naiinsecure sa mga taong successful, hahanapan ng kahit anong butas may masabi lang.

Ang dami mong alam!! Hindi porke't pinagkatiwalaan ka ng company credit card pwede mo na waldasin yun pera sa kung ano gusto mong bilhin. It comes with the responsibility at may karapatan ang company na habulin ka kung sa tingin nila ay wala sa lugar ang gastos mo. It is not automatic that if you have the billing statements all transactions are valid and authorized.

WHEN Kris Aquino wants to get noticed, its likely something to laugh about or raged from because its too out of touch from reality or an outright lie. This time the "fiancee" may have backed out at the last minute because he may have sensed that Aquino is now partly infirmed, and may need prolonged hospital care. That wasn't too gentlemanly if it was the case. Or, the guy bolted because he saw the woman can only lived with a henpecked partner, and one that has no mental acuity to begin with, and the guy turns out to be notches better than the gigolo who has no work and the second man na pa-dribble-dribble lang ng bola....
