I don't know if this topic/ show has been posted before, if yes pls merge.
I rekindled my old love for this show, and just finished season 38! Now tracking backwards. The show is still hilarious as hell! My ultimate comedy show! Highly recommended!

Yeah, I used to enjoy watching this in the late 80's/early 90's, back when there was still FEN (Far East Network) which was operated for the US Armed Forces personnel stationed in Asia. FEN was an excellent source of popular stateside TV series/shows back then. :)

This was my favorite FEN show from that era. The cast at that time included Dana Carvey, Nora Dunne, Jan Hooks, Victoria Jackson, Phil Hartman, Jon Lovitz, Kevin Nealon, Dennis Miller, Mike Myers, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler.
It was the time of classic skits like Hans & Franz, Church Chat, Wayne's World, Sprockets...

Alam mo agad pag naka fen ang bahay coz of the high FEN antennas they had on their roof. Yung mukang arrow na laging nakaturo sa clark airbase. Lol!

Dahil sa fen, and that antenna, unfortunately, nasunog bahay ko in year 2000. Yung antenna directly sa rotator sa bedside table ko, tinamaan ng kidlat! Ayun, naubos bahay ko! Anyway, OT na.

Yung snl era ni kristin wiig, jason sudakis, bill hader and fred armisen 2008-2013 sobrang nakakatawa. Magaling sila! Kaya lang graduate na din sila.
Si Seth Mayer will also move up to replace jimmy fallon in late night show. Jimmy Fallon, an snl alumnus himself, will move up to host the tonight show replacing jay leno.

sayang recently lang nagka-SNL sa jacktv. dun ko lang napanood yung show. sana man lang naabutan ko yung spoof kay sarah palin nung kainitan ng battle for the white house.
i loved tina fey, kristin wiig and amy poehler. gusto ko rin sina jason sudeikis, bill hader and fred armisen. tsaka si andy samberg (SNL digital shorts) and let's not forget keenan thompson. di ko lang gusto yung "what's up with that?" segment nya. sa mga bago, i like taran killam, na asawa pala ni cobie smulders(robin scherbatsky of how i met your mother)

What's Up With That? Naku, favorite song namin ng anak ko yan. Gustong gusto din namin yang segment na yan funny kse puro song prod na lang di na natutuloy interview. Funny din sayaw ni jason sudeikis dyan.

Ditto. Same generation yata tayo, hehe (FEN via UHF antenna). I loved the cast you mentioned with Hartman, Nealon, Myers, and Carvey being my favorites.
Nealon and Carvey as Hans and Franz ("we're here to pump CLAP you up"), Myers as Dieter in Sprockets ("you may touch my monkey"), and Myers and Carvey as Wayne and Garth in Wayne's World ("sphinchter says what?") were just so effing hilarious back then.

I suggest you guys try out the new ones. Start watching 2011 - May 2013 episodes. Created great stars as well like Tina Fey, Jason Soudakis, etc. Very funny rin!

I watch on occasion, usually based on the host. The humor is different nowadays, I think it caters more to Gen Y. The last episodes I remember that were consistently funny were the Betty White and Dana Carvey hosted ones. Others usually have 2-3 skits that amuse me and musical guests I rarely recognize. LOL
