Title: Worst Interviews
Post by: krets pulpol on Apr 30, 2014 at 04:45 PM
1. Toni Gonzaga on Leighton Meester
2. Ricky Lo on Anne Hathaway
3. Kris Aquino on Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone

Seeing or hearing them will make you cringe on how these personalities make us stupid in public.

I believe there's more.

That Yong Chavez (ABS CBN correspondent in Hollywood) will also be in the list for having the knack of connecting Filipinos and Philippines to any actor/actress. Anything negative towards us will always draw flak or uproar from the netizens. There's nothing wrong asking questions about what they think of or relate to the Philippines but can't they stick to the topic? Is it the splicing of interviews like getting the good ones or mentioning the Filipinos or Philippines in a good way so audiences will be happy?

We are always associated with either of the following: beaches, balut and Manny Pacquiao.

There's also the lame excuse "oh he/she's tired and been a lot of interviews so the whole session wasn't that good".

What kind of a mentality do we have?

What kind of a mentality do we have?

I think it's inherent in many Pinoys to feel validated or recognized, especially in the world stage. No matter how menial it is, we love to associate ourselves with famous people or events, just so we can bask in residual glories or fame. Be it tracing an actor's 1/256th Filipino root, making a media sensation of a Twitter trending topic inspired by a teleserye, or taking part in a community effort to claim the Guinness Record for the longest fishball skewer on Earth, we celebrate them all and feel proud of our "accomplishments", how trivial they appear. Some may call it Pinoy Pride. I call it KSP.

Grabe lang yung kay Kris, really. How egotistical is that as$ wipe? Ala kanye yung dating, magiinterview ka tapos ibbring up mo "My little bossings"? What the fck. Is that even for real? I get that anak nya bida dun and she's proud of it, but do you really have to bring that up? The interview is supposedly about Spiderman. Jesus, t@nga lang sobra e.
