Correct anti-skating
One of the topics I discuss with Mr. Fremer last November was setting up the correct anti skating. He told me contrary to popular belief the blank record doesn’t work. Some DIY blank surface could even prove dangerous and destroy the stylus because the surface could be too soft and yank the stylus. Now we have this test record from Tacet where in you can set the anti skate by ear. I’m no guru but I think it work. I’m waiting for wiredstate.com veteran analog guy, gaucho, to send his feedback soon.
