Title: Rotel CD player: RCD-02 repair service

Anyone who can repair rotel rcd-02 CD player ? Tnx

Can you please specify what is wrong with the CD player. Perhaps the repair is maybe something you can do yourself.

Does not read cd anymore. According to my friend the owner , lens is the problem

Maybe the lens just need cleaning. After some time the lens get dirty.

What I usually do is dip a cotton bud (used for the ear) with water (just a little) then rub this in the CD lens gently. After this I use a different cotton bud to dry the CD lens.

Meron pang puwede galawin dun sa may lente - sa may lens assembly. Kadalasan may dalawa o tatlong trimpot na ina adjust. Kailangan lang ng service manual para malaman kung paano. Tiyak ganun din gagawin kapag pinapa repair. Kung hindi umubra sa dito, palitin na talaga iyung lente.

Tungkol naman sa pagawaan, puwede siguro sa may Pier kung saan bumibili ng surplus na amplifier at gamit pang audio. Doon ako madalas dati at marami doon kayang kaya mag repair ng lens assembly ng CDP.
