Seller is PhShop.ph (https://mall.shopee.ph/shop/#shopid=12444808), and item I purchased is the "X96 Quad Core TV BOX 2G+16G KODI XBMC 4K Smart HD Android 6.0 WIFI AU Plug AH242 (https://shopee.ph/X96-TV-BOX-1G-16G-Smart-HD-Android-6.0-WIFI-%28Black%29-31914-i.12444808.251175264)". If you compare the text of my purchased item, the ad has now been modified to show 1G+16G (I don't think this configuration even exists).
Before buying, I reached out to seller to ask for shipping timelines, they estimated ~4 days to ship after purchase. A week passed, and they then tell me to request for a refund because they cannot ship. After that, I noticed that the item description has been updated to show 1G+16G. Medyo engot din, kasi dapat siguro 1G+8G ang tamang description.
Hassle pa the payment/refund system of Shopee. Dapat parang Lazada na puwede Paypal and Credit Card. Will wait if Shopee penalizes the seller. If not, then I will uninstall the app, and deactivate my account with them.

i called and told what happened. they can't do anything about it daw. so these random account name + my real number cant be cancelled. my new account with wrong number can't be fixed kasi my real number was associated to the first.
next is the delivery. says there monday so i confirmed with seller sabi tuesday daw para sure. di dumating. next pa tapos super late.
will i be using it again? probably not unless there is compelling reasons to do so. will i recommend it, probably not now. siguro eventually gaganda rin system nila

same experience with shopee, seller asked me to cancel order para ma refund ang payment dahil wala daw stock. masyado hassle dahil bank to bank transfer ang payment ko tapos hindi nila i-transfer sa bank account mo, nasa shopee wallet daw.
meron sila COD brader.. dapata kasi hindi pinapayagan ng shopee benta ng mga 2nd hand products.

ayos ok yan pag yung mga local seller lang at alam yung binebenta nila, yung ibang international(chinese) seller kasi na kung ano ano binebenta nakakabanas, 3 beses ako omorder ng same item(carbon fiber tube) laging pinapa cancel sa akin kasi daw out of stock, tapos after ko i cancel makikita ko after 3 days on stock na ulit tapos oorderin ko then ipapacancel kasi out of stock na naman daw haahhaha, kaya nakailang beses na akong nag "report user" at sila ang pinapa cancel ko para magreflect sa kanila na madami na silang cancellation w/c will lower their "points or reputation" as seller.

Shopee's delivery coordination seems to be improving. Before, I would get sms notification from the delivery person when they are already at my place. This is a problem in my case as nobody is at home most of the time and I just leave the payment with the lobby guard if I receive sms notification the day before delivery or in the early hour on the date of delivery. I sent them feedback on the early notification so I can prepare for payment and coordinate with the lobby guard. Now I am getting early notification from the courier and things are a lot easier when recieving/paying for the item.

Pero kahit sa lazada naka experience nadin ako bad sellers. Fakes... Not luxury branded goods ha. Xiaomi mi band watch lang nakakuha pako fake dun. Complained pinadala ko thru lbc. Di naman din sinoli ng lazada pera ko. Hehe 6mo ago na yun. So if medyo mahal or medyo madami fake ng binibili niyo like memory cards and hand bags. Make sure you buy from reputable seller. Hehe

minsan sir nasa courier din yan,meron courier na tamad or minsan cutoff time na so hindi na ihahatid,kasi dati naalala ko biglang nawala black arrow nung tinanong ko yung regular na naghahatid sa akin ang sabi ay nag "strike" daw sila ng ilang araw kasi hindi daw sila binabayaran ng OT pay pag lumagpas sila ng 8 hours sa pagdedeliver.

Nagiimprove na ng konti shipping time nila, but mas mabagal pa rin kesa Lazada ng konti, but at least improving.
As of now, parang wala pa vouchers. Hula ko naghahanda sila for start of next year. Kung may 9.9 (sept.9), 10.10(oct.10), 11.11 (nov.11) at 12.12 (dec.12), malamang maglalabanan na naman sila ni Lazada sa 1.1 :D

then email Shopee directly at [email protected] para naka-"file" na for dispute.
Better to give pictures as evidence.
If they do not respond to Shopee's dispute claim, Shopee will refund the amount to you. Experience ko sa Shopee, mabilis naman sila magrefund compared to Lazada.
Buti na lang mababa lang yung total amount mo, pero sayang nga rin, fault naman ng seller.
That's why I refrain from ordering on sellers with ratings less than 4.5, marami pa ring unprofessional

If Shopee didn't email you, unahan mo na sila and indicate your order number, para naka-document na agad ang dispute. Kapag nahayaan mo kasi after a number of days, minsan automatic na iclose ng Shopee ang order tapos ibigay na sa seller yung money. Wala ka nang habol kung ganun. Tama si tigkal, usually kapag small amount, hindi na pinapabalik item. But there are sellers na nananadya na ipapabalik pa rin kahit na small amount, lalo na kung inis sayo 😉

ako din may dispute dati kasi dumating yung items na inorder ko basag yung isa,although 4 inorder ko so meron pa din 3 na usable,nirefund sa akin total amount nung 4 items tapos wag ko na daw ibalik,mas malaki pa ata magagastos ng seller kung ibabalik ko pa kasi sila ata mag shoulder ng shipping charge lalo na nasa china yung seller.

Nireceive yung item ng employee namin pero nung nakita ko, hindi properly sealed yung box tapos walang kasamang screws kaya hindi ko maassemble. Nag file ako ng refund request sa shopee within the alloted time pero dapat daw makipag usap daw ako sa seller so nakipag chat ako at hiningi yung photographic evidence na pinadala ko naman. After that, wala na silang reply tapos nakatanggap na lang ako ng email na dinispute ng seller yung return/refund request ko.
Hayz. P500 lang naman. Charge to experience na lang. Ecommerce has a long way to go dito sa PH.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I also experienced some of those "defective/wrong items" coming from China, sugal talaga actually e unless proven with many reviews/ratings na. That's why I only buy from reputable/highly-rated stores.
Based on my experience, this is what I do (I almost have a 100% refund rate, expert na ako)
If the item is defective, damaged, or wrong item upon receipt of package, I immediately take a photo of it (and bar code sticker if any) of the item and send a private message (with attached photo) immediately to the seller. And once they respond, I will kindly ask for a refund (be courteous, if not, they will get defensive). Most of them will accept your refund request naman immediately, especially the ones with high ratings (they don't want to tarnish their ratings).
In case they don't respond (within 1-3 days), or get defensive, or try to say an excuse, that's the time I press the return/refund button in the app and then email Shopee directly along with my complaint and picture evidence (dapat kita talaga ang damage/error). Yes it requires some effort/time in your part (lalo na kung matigas talaga ang seller), but usually Shopee in the end will force the seller to refund your money if they see that it's really not your fault.
Some sellers will try to offer you discount or say they will only return partial amount or require you to return the item. I always say NO and demand full refund since it is their fault naman. And I always say that I will not return the item (to the nearest Cebuana Lhullier branch yata), since the cost of petrol/gas will even be greater than the value of the product itself (Basta P500-less). So in the end, I almost always get full refund. Okay refunding system ni Shopee, mabilis sila magtransfer. Unlike sa Lazada, pahirapan minsan.
Please note that I do this not to take advantage, but only because it is my right as a buyer to get the right item that I paid for (I am very considerate to sellers who are very responsive and courteous).
I hope this helps for future purchases (and for other members).

It seems that Shopee is slowly (and quietly) increasing their shipping rates.
Before, their "FREE SHIPPING VOUCHER" was capped at P100 discount off shipping rate. Then it became P80 cap.
Now, it is capped at P60 discount.
What does it mean? It means they are slowly increasing their shipping rates, and are slowly creeping into Lazada shipping rate territory.
Dating free shipping talaga, ngayon you pay around P40-60 even if with FREE SHIPPING VOUCHER applied.
I hope they don't mess this one up; one of the reasons why I rarely use Lazada App, because of the standard P50 shipping fee.
I can't blame them for trying to recuperate from higher fuel/logistics costs, but the FREE SHIPPING VOUCHER is a bit misleading.
But still, lesser evil pa rin siya than Lazada (with all that UP TO 90% OFF crap LOL)

Kelangan talaga nila ng info on your source of funds, nature of work, company name, ID type, ID number and photo of the ID, self portrait with said ID and whether you're a politically exposed person or not? Especially yung last part, (politically exposed person info). Baket nila kelangan yun eh di naman sila political entity. Pwede nila magamit info mo to persecute political dissent. Daig pa nila AMLA. G@go ba sila? I would not sign up for that "convenience" kung ganon din lang. I still value my freedom and independence.

BUYER: Some of my personal orders are already cancelled/not picked up at seller's house/office

Did anyone experience buying from shopee with a status "seller own shipping"? My daughter was scammed recently. She was surprised to find out that "confirm delivered" was already the status of the shipment even no actual delivery was made. :'( Is this a red flag as seller should ship only through affiliated couriers?

Sorry if this is a late reply, I just saw this now.
Yes sir, "Own Shipping" is also an option, as I myself (as a seller) was able to do that for special reasons (my item was really large around 23kg, so I has to do a special shipping via AP Cargo, which was not one of the partner couriers of Shopee).
Having said that, even though the seller that you mentioned used "Own Shipping", you should have notified Shopee immediately regarding the "Non-delivery" or "Fraud" attempt (DO NOT press the ORDER RECEIVED button at all costs!).
Just like Paypal, Shopee holds the payment, before releasing it to the seller (once buyer acknowledges receipt of package), as a security measure. The seller now has the obligation to show proof of delivery (usually the courier receipt with tracking #) as proof.
If deemed undelivered or fraud by Shopee, Shopee will refund the payment back to you (in form of credit card reversal, Shopee wallet, etc).
DO NOT by any means pay directly to the seller (ex. bank transfer, Western Union), as that is the main reason why we shop via apps like Shopee/Lazada etc. for them to act as the "mediator".
I hope this helps, and serves a a guide/warning to other buyers

Let me answer both as a buyer and a seller:
1. The Vacation mode is when a store wants to stop operation "temporarily" (example, nag"vacation" siya or inventory check or aalis lang kasi siya for a few days), but if you were able to order before the store activates Vacation Mode, they will have to fulfill and process your order. That is, unless they CANCEL your order (huwag naman sana). Please contact them thru message to coordinate.
2. Yes the MAKE AN OFFER works, but in my opinion, it is more of a negotiation option. For example, you already bought an item from them but received either a slightly damaged or wrong item. Some sellers (usually overseas), just give you an option to MAKE AN OFFER, so that they will give you the same item again but at a very discounted price na lang, para hindi mo na icancel yung first order na lang (hassle sa kanila if ibabalik mo pa yung first order, which in reality, it usually doesn't come back to them anymore, lalo na't kapag small/cheap item lang)
3. In a marketing perspective, I think it just boils down to promoting overseas sales to boost sales, mostly from Chinese vendors.
TIP: If you are purchasing from a local seller, try looking for STANDARD SHIPPING if it is one of the options in the courier. That is Shopee Express (their direct courier), and usually they charge P0.00 (zero pesos) for shipping for most small/medium items (if free shipping voucher is applied). This may change in the future ha, but for now I was able to purchase so many zero pesos shipping fee with this one

Yes some seller may be not too service-friendly, that where the feedback ratings may help, konting basa basa lang, usually you will see feedback from other buyers regarding the product as well as service of the seller.
But with regards to your seller, just message them directly and inquire when they will ship out your item. Kahit naka-vacation mode yan, they should still fulfill all their prior orders confirmed by Shopee. Because if they don't, may penalty from Shopee yan (penalty points).
Not all sellers have the Standard Shipping (Shopee Express) option. Different areas vary e, as organized/managed by Shopee.
Dito sa area namin, J&T Express lang ang alloted sa amin e, so no choice kami.

Shame that Shopee has removed or devalued their best vouchers since the start of the year. 20% cashback is now limited to only 300. No more midnight and noon 0% free shipping. Halos wala nang discount vouchers especially for Shopee pay that was a daily offering before. Nakaka walang gana na ulit mag local online shopping. Pffft

Just like before, I think they're experimenting again (if people will react).

Ordered an item from Shopee which I surprisingly found out the seller's location is in Marikina. About 10 minutes away from me. Let's see how efficient J&T is for delivery. ;D
Of what I know, they aggregate orders before doing deliveries so most probably Hindi yan mabilis because it’s only 10 minutes away from you. They have a hub per area.

There's a J&T hub in Concepcion Marikina. It's their last hub before being delivered to my house. So hopefully it won't go outside the city proper anymore.

isang problema ko dyan sa shopee ay hindi naka indicate sa package yung amount to be paid pag COD.. minsan nagkamali ng singil sa akin yung courier, hindi ko agad na verify sa app yung amount eh.. tapos wala pa nakasulat dun sa package unlike lazada na meron amount printed..

for me, mas ok na yung amount to be paid eh visible lang sa app ng courier kesa naka print. what if may ibang tao nakakita nung package at pag interesan pa kasi nakita nilang expensive pala yung package. hindi din naman nahirapan na tignan sa app kung magkano babayaran ko or never pa ako nagkaruon ng time na mahirapan i-access ang shopee. although since nag start ang pandemic, puro shopeepay na ako para cashless na saka mas madami vouchers like free shipping and discounts.

Ay oo malabo na yung high cashback right now, alam nila no choice pa rin buyers but to buy online e.
What I do now for maximum savings, is to wait for their main events (10.10, 11.11, etc), and hopefully the item that I want has 20% cashback (nowadays max out at P500 + credit card discount (sa BDO 10% usually) + less 200 coins (max) + free shipping hehe
Hopefully may ok sa 2.2 hehehe

As like what others say, konting tiis lang sir na kayo muna mag-abono ng shipping fee for returns. Babalik naman sayo yan (ikakaltas sa seller yun, so actually lugi nga sila, kasi refund item na, may expense sa return shipping pa)
In my opinion, I'd rather do this, than with Lazada's return policy via LBC (meaning kailangan ko pang maghanap ng LBC tapos pumila ng kay haba haba, lalo na't Covid times ngayon)
Another alternative, if possible, is try to convince the seller to just outright refund your money (no more returns), if you convince them enough na mas lugi pa sila if ireturn ang package dahil mas mahal pa yung courier fee compared to the value of the item itself.
May times na gumagana sa akin yan, but there are also times na matigas/ma-pride talaga ang seller, so in the end- lose-lose situtation siya, because either he gives back your money (refund), or he ends up paying for the return courier fee (depends on the value of the item of course), so karma na sa kanila yan kasi fault naman in their part. Kung inis ka talaga sa seller, ipa-Grab/Lalamove mo, para mas mahal ang makakaltas sa kanila hehehe (just dont forget to take a screenshot of the receipt for documentation).
Pero nakakainis nga yung ganyan na ma-rereceive mo either wrong item or defective, yung oras mo yung nasasayang e,but ganyan talaga if online purchase e, that is always the risk.

They have gotten a bit smarter too. Some have profile pics with real pictures of people and are no longer located in remote areas of the country but within the city.
Other tagged prices also seem reasonable, still absurd but maybe less 20 to 30% less the market price. They can definitely dupe someone who might be a bit older or are just deal-focused.

The first store above reminded me of the times I got scammed.
One common factor is that they put religion into the conversation. Things like "Sorry I was not able to respond. Just came from church." or "Sorry I cannot provide you the refund yet, I have yada yada yada. Godbless."
Real pathetic.
As much as possible, I buy from overseas China when using Shopee. I'd rather take that gamble and rid me of unnecessary headaches.

But as a clarification, Shopee's payment system (I'm not sure about Lazada) works similar to Paypal, wherein the seller only receives the money (credited to Shopee seller wallet) after the package has been delivered and the buyer approves it by clicking on ORDER RECEIVED (or by default: after 5 days of no complaints/return requests)
If ever there are cancellations (from the seller), the order is automatically cancelled, and the payment (if paid in advanced via credit card, Shopee wallet, etc) will be returned to the buyer.
Pero tama si Boss Dan, do not click on ORDER RECEIVED unless you are sure that the item works flawlessly.
What I even do is to click on EXTEND SHOPEE GUARANTEE to add 3 days more extension to the so-called guarantee/warranty of Shopee, for maximum your time to try out and test the item for any defects, etc

True. I'm still wrapping my head around as to why they do it though. Probably send a defective or wrong item and hope you will have a hard time sending it back thus using remote locations in the provinces as store fronts?? I would get some scammers not using the Shoppee shipping option so the deal would be outside the app. Maybe that's it. They'll dupe you by trying to get the transaction outside the platform.

Regarding Indonesian sellers, I've encountered them before. I think I was looking for transformers and grounding rods and I found people from Indonesia selling these.

last week i ordered 3 pcs. plastic storage P112/pc. may damage yong cap nong isa so i immediately initiatied refund. then nagreply immediately ang seller ng return and refund daw which i also accepted. kaya lang nong check ko yong return process wala na yong pickup ng shopee at ako na bahala kung anong courier piliin. syempre ayaw ko umalis ng bahay so either grab or lalamove lang. naawa naman ako sa seller kasi laking lugi nya nagpropose ako na mag oorder ulit ako ng 2 pcs. (maganda yong item) then include nya yong replacement cap. 2 days later no reply so tumawag ako sa shopee para irequest na magmediate sila pero di pa raw pwede. nakita ko yong number nong seller sa return address at tinawagan ko explaining my new proposal. explain nong seller na may tao syang nag aasikaso ng mga order at hingi ng hingi ng sorry. few minutes later sa shopee app hingi naman ng sorry yong tao at dagdagan na lang daw nya ng freebies. minsan wala kasing pakialam yong taong nagpiprepare ng items. yan most of the time ang reason hindi yong intentional na pinalusutan ka ng defective. kung magpalusot kasi sila ng defective mas lugi pa sila sa shipping ng return.

Na notice ko na yung ibang mga user reviews sa shopee lazada parang hindi mga pinoy sumulat. Yung isang time I saw a desk w Chinese flag.
Malamang fake review yun para artificially mapataas yung rating ng item.
Mapapansin mo yan sa mga fake microSD card listings na ang taas ng capacity sa label like 512GB or 1TB pero actually mga 32 or 64GB lang kaya na ko-corrupt yung data pag lumampas doon yung writes. Nilalagyan ng seller ng maraming fake template reviews na may pictures pa at naka upvote pa na "helpful" para matabunan yung negative reviews ng mga nagrereklamo.

Yup, daming stupid reviews sa Shopee. Maliban sa nabanggit, marami negative feedback na kasalanan ng buyer kasi hindi marunong magbasa. Recently bumili ako ng small diamond cutting discs tapos may stupid feedback na wag daw bumili kasi ang liit, useless daw. Pero sa product description nandun ang dimensions ng discs. That's why pag nag-upload akong ng product pictures laging may katabi na ruler, para may sense of scale ang mga buyers na nagre-rely lang sa pictures at di man magbasa ng product description. Ganun din for some switches na binili ko, ang presyo per pair (as stated sa description) pero sa picture 3 ang switch. So estupido na buyer nagko-complain kung bakit 2 lang daw ang switch. ::)

Mismo. Hindi na tuloy accurate ang feedback/rating system. Some sellers tell buyers in advance that if they have gripes eh pag usapan muna (para aregluhin si buyer) at di bumaba rating ng seller. Nawawalan tuloy ng credibility yung proseso.

Shopee and Lazada is a blessing nga for people who want to buy replacement parts like fets, stepdown ic's or ribbon cables. The discounts and free shipping for small purchases make it a sweeter deal than say àliexpress or banggood. This is why i miss shopees' daily 0 minimum spend midnight vouchers. I noticed the indonesian prices are a bit on the higher side though. But it still fills the product gap that some china merchants do not carry. So it's all good.
i agree, and i have not been to Raon for more than a year now...i had my share of lemons, but seldom complain, the prices are too low anyway..

I noticed that some sellers where I previously purchased items from via credit card, no longer offer the same mode of payment. So the most convenient for me would then be via COD. I wonder why they took out the credit card option whether it's the seller who took it out or Shopee.

Using credit cards are just more convenient for me. I think it's a bit tedious transferring funds to ShopeePay. Plus the P25 charge for the transfer.

There is no fee for topping up ShopeePay using Gcash. Moreover, even if there was, that measly amount will be more than offset with the vouchers that you'll get, especially the cashback ones. I recently bought something worth ~1k and was able to use a voucher to provide 200 coins, which is essentially 200 pesos off, and stacked with a free shipping voucher that's a discount of ~240 pesos.
Yeah tried that route. BDO to gcash (P25 fee) to Shopeepay. Easier just to click on credit card. And I do see those free shipping and cashback vouchers. I think Shopee provides 3-5 of those vouchers per month and refreshes them every month. Which is enough for me.

I ordered a 155 liter storage box for my UV box project, which explains the high shipping fee. That fee is actually pretty tame, there was one seller with a shipping fee in excess of 800 pesos, one ~600 pesos, and others ~300 pesos. I used a cashback voucher and free shipping voucher provided by using ShopeePay and with the two combined it more than offset the shipping fee, since the coins can be used like cash within the platform

May iba naman na pag madalas na order ko at kailangan agad, dumidiretso nako sa seller. Lalo na yung mga PC apps na kailangan ng mga anak ko sa school, sa labas na kami ng shopee, mas mura usually ng 50PH at real time na.

ang hindi lang maganda sa shopee is yung free shipping karaniwan via shopee pay na which I don't use.

nabili din ako dyan kay buildmate.. already have 3 torque wrenches... yung ameriman at flyman same lang.. taiwan made. gamit ko for torque setting of wheel nuts.. pag mga sensitive parts like sparkplug, or brake components, yung toptul torque wrench gamit ko..

have you tried calling their hotline and talking to a csr about your case? maybe they can explain or elaborate further on what they meant dun sa offences mo on your account? parang automated spiel lang kasi yung sagot sayoAlready did that sir. Tried chat support too aside from calling them. Gave them my side of the story exactly how I pointed it out on my previous post above. It's been three days since I did so. Ni ha, ni ho walang reply. That's why I'm thinking of bringing this up with the DTI.

I experienced this more than a year ago. I filed for an appeal and it eventually was restored… funny thing is it was also about “abusing free shipping” and i claimed how can i abuse it when they actually allowed me to avail of it, besides its to their advantage if you order many items as long as you use the vouchers na sila naman mismo nagbigay. There was several back and forth and eventually it was easier to just buy a 50-peso sim and setup an account for my nephew and have him make my orders hahaha. They did restore my account after. From what i understand it was flagged by their system and was just a glitch, sort of… they also rejected it at first then i appealed then forgot about it,,, it took a couple of mos ata before they restored it but i wasnt sure as i did not wait for it anymore

And besides, di ba mas okay yung sila mismo maglagay ng warning feature sa app nila to let the consumer know they are about to violate a policy. The tendency of the consumer is to use vouchers and discounts available to them. If it's not applicable/usable, that's when they know it is not for them. You can't expect the consumer to know all their policy by heart. Heck, some of those policies aren't even well defined. I still haven't found time to email DTI about my case. I know it's more convenient to just get a SIM and setup a new account. But what I'm getting at here is for them to change or improve their detection system and policies. Otherwise, they will just keep going with this dumb rule of theirs. Also, sayang yung account as it's now platinum. :D

one time i had a warning of voucher abuse which was around 3 years ago, was when i used 2 different phone numbers for one merchant voucher. i intentionally wanted to dupe that time,Marami nang nagrereklamo din sa voucher abuse detection ni Shopee. A better system should be warning the users' that they are about to violate a certain T&C on a voucher when their system detects it. With regards to the same address detected, they slapped me with that as well. Ang contention ko jan is ako lang mag-isa sa bahay and iisa lang account ko sa Shopee so how is that possible? They just used their terms of service to justify my account being limited without even addressing the fact I pointed out.
This Friday I will have a mediation conference with Shopee and DTI. I'll be sure to make it interesting. Hehehe.

But the thing I hate the most, is the unnecessary side comments just to win in the argument or conversation.
A really dumb way to do business.
I only buy local if it's much much cheaper, and usually avoid them if I can.
I don't care about the waiting time buying overseas. It outweighs talking to idiots.

Standard delivery? Once you ordered using standard delivery, you can assign a specific courier after by editing your order. Not doing so would mean assigning SPX as courier by default. And SPX is by far the worst courier ever! ;D

forgot to share here. yung bagong hire namin came from Shopee. na redundate sila. apparently yung venture nila to India was a big failure and it caused a huge loss for the Chinese owned company. going bankrupt na daw ata.
kaya nawala ang pag stack ng vouchers, and now hindi na 100% ang free delivery. Also heard na pag multiple items even from same seller nadadagdagan na daw ang delivery fee. haven't experienced it.
One thing i noticed is that parang nangonti ang selections unlike before. parang last month lang i was searching for a particular battery for a device at ang daming matches but now, iilan na lang ang listed.
Also daming mga sellers that are addressed from different provinces pero obvious na overseas manggagaling ang product.

Sa mga nagsasabing Shopee choose the endorser vs us, their employees. FYI, Shopee is a business. May business plan and timeline yan. Budgeting didn't happen overnight. It was already forecasted beforehand. Marketing and OPEX costing are way different. Wala ako sa marketing, pero pwede nyo i-google yan. Also, sa enabler claims nyo, pls don't forget that we also have ambassadors from the different political spectrum. Wag double standard.
Kaya please! Don’t use our heartbreaks for your political advantage. Stop using us with your cancel culture. You have the right to stand for your political views. Pero wag kami! Iba na lang. Nag momove-on pa lang kami mahirap mawalan ng mabuti at maalagang employer.

Me concern lang ako with both shopee & lazada. Bihira lang ako bumili sa kanila ang napapansin ko lang e sobra sobra ang packaging tape, bubble at cling wrap, resealable plastic ang ginagamit sa mga packages natatangap namin.

I notice this as well. The abundance of packaging material plus the typical behavior of Pinoys when it comes to disposing trash is just a bad combination.
I dont think its Shopee's fault though. Its the vendor who packages the products. They adjust to the consumer behavior of giving 5 star reviews if the item ordered is protected like a mummy in bubble wrap.

Lazada ang go-to app ko for online shopping. Second choice lang ang Shopee, so no biggie na hindi ko muna gamitin...
Same here, its a personal preference, lazada is my default shopping app. though I use shopee just to compare prices.
If its just Php 20 cheaper in shopee ill still order from lazada. I have never had any issues with refunds and replaced items with lazada.
Minsan lang talaga ako gumagamit ng shopee, if its a local business and if lazada doesnt have it. Also, my daughter's default shopping app is shopee.

Shopee hired a controversial endorser, it's natural that the move will cause a PR backlash which is the last thing a company in crisis mode needs right now. Misguided move by their marketing IMO. They could have easily picked other endorsers with no political baggage.
I'm sure there were some warnings during the internal meetings na very controversial si TG the Apologist.
But the decision to cast her prevailed....hence the Backlash.
I know of about 20 friends and family who have chosen not to use Shopee.
The company is feeling the heat... >:(

may purchase ako kahapon, a couple bottles of engine oil and a filter. deliberately excluded another filter for the scooter then messaged the seller kung pwede i-add na lang sa package knowing that it would easily fit pag ni-pack nila and offered to pay separately via gcash. pumayag naman. saved 75 pesos.

Been using lazada and shopee for the longest time. Currently, shopee's delivery time is the worst. Pangit na nga dati mas pangit pa ngayon. If you are in a hurry to get an item, go lazada.
This is usually true, but last week, I bought one item each from shopee and lazada and the item from shopee arrived three days after ordering. the one from Lazada is yet to be delivered as of time of posting :(

Lazada bonus is good too.. stackable vouchers.. dati sa shopee pwede multi vouchers eh...now 1 lang pwede.. tapos kahit platinum ka, wala din silbi

sana lang iimprove ng lazada ang app nila. mas okay ang app ng shopee e. madaling inavigate.

For shipping, it really depends on who the logistics provider is. The in-house "express" option for both Lazada and shopee are terrible. GogoExpress needs to be avoided like the plague, while Ninjavan and J&T have historically been inconsistent.
In terms of UI and UX, Shopee is better, imho.

It's still a crapshoot in terms of pricing and deliveries, doesn't matter whether it's Lazada or Shopee.

Reputable ba yung Kimstore sa shopee? Nakaindicate na shopee mall sila... Considering nuying a phone from them.It's a legit shop. Not sure if the phone is a local unit or a grey-market release though.
