Warner's R1 of Citizen Kane has a couple of easter eggs.  The R3s of the Matrix and Three Kings also contain easter eggs.

Here's a website (http://dvdeastereggs.com/main.php) that collects all easter eggs on DVDs. Quite helpful when you don't have time to find those easter eggs in your DVD collection although I heard that's part of the fun. Discovering something on your own. Has anyone here found an easter egg without any help from someone or anyone?

You can also hear the complete score of Mummy (same with Apollo 13) from the language menu. :)

Among my favorite easter eggs are Dr. Evil's hidden feature page from Austin Powers: TSWSM, Aki in a bikini in Final Fantasy :), and the hidden interviews in You've Got Mail.

Thriller video performed by the Final Fantasy cast is my current favorite easter egg. Too bad they didn't use Michael Jackson's actual music.

Really?  Whose music did they use?  It sounds like the intro to Thriller to me.  I have a copy of the album; maybe I should do a side-by-side comparison.  :)

I meant Michael Jackson's vocals. If Final Fantasy use the whole song, I could have finally gotten rid of my VHS copy of "Michael Jackson's Thriller"  ;)

The Fast & The Furious

I just want to share this with you and also wrote to DVD Review Eggs [[email protected]] about the Special Ending at the very end of the movie credits that Vin Diesel is in Baja Mexico already with new HotRod.

And this is their reply:

Thank you very much for your hidden feature submission. We do review all
submissions very carefully to see if they qualify as hidden features. Please
keep in mind that we only publish hidden features for region 1 (North
America) DVD titles.

Even if you do not see us post the hidden feature immediately, it does not
mean we do not take it seriously. We do not publish hidden features before
the DVD has been officially released and we will accumulate all submissions
for these titles. Once the disc is released and time allows, we will publish
the hidden feature on our website. Credits go - without exception - to those
who first submitted the features to us. We do not give anyone preference in
any way, and strictly base this procedure on the order of receipt. If your
name does not appear next to the publish hidden feature, someone else
submitted the Easter Egg before you did.

Thank you very much for your support and your help to make DVD Review more
valuable to everyone.

Okey thanx BroMigraine!!! ;)

Kasi bihira naman talaga yung tinatapos yung mga credits or acknowledgements pag nanonood and based from  Brother DON’s EasterEggsSite (http://www.dvdeastereggs.com/showEgg.php?eggid=498&grabEggs=f)[/b].

On this site they consider it an EASTER EGG. Just to JUSTIFY my post.

Malamang na may ibang members din dito na hindi rin nila napanood yung scene after the credit chapter.

I was browsing the net for easter eggs on From Hell, and I got onew that says there's one on disc 2, pero di ko sya makita when i played disc 2 on my DVD player.
Then i popped the disc in my DVD-Rom, and sure enough, pwede ko ng ma-highlight yung easter egg na yun at nakita ko na.
Sa DVD-Rom lang ba naga-appear ang mga easter eggs? ???

Don't know if this counts, but I found one sa Monsters Inc (R3). I was previewing the disc 2 and I found this by accident.

On the second disc, go to Monster's Only and  you'll see a door with 3 submenu choices. There should be a large logo of Monsters Inc. on the right side of the screen. Press Right (or click on it if you're using a DVD-ROM) to highlight the logo and press Enter. You'll see a short clip about some of the jokes the animators did while they were doing the film.  :)

All are on Disc 2 of the Collector's Edition.

Follow the Human's Door first and highlight the "Pixar" Door. Enter this then press on the paper Plane to access "The Pixar Annual Air Show".

Highlight the Pixar Door and press down for the DVD credits.

Now, this Trailer is already in the main features of the "Release" door of the "Humans Only" area, but can also be accessed going through the Monsters Only Door (I assume this is an egg for the kids to find). Press the Monsters, Inc. eye to the right of the Menu screen. You will get the "Charades" Trailer.

How do I access the following Moulin Rouge easter eggs with a Xenon 810 remote?

Egg 13: On the “Design” submenu, type ‘18’ + enter, then ‘99’ + enter to see a makeup artists dust some nipples (0:14) (Might not be what you are hoping for)

Egg 14: In the “Smoke & Mirrors” sub-menu, type ‘5’ + enter, then ‘18’ + enter to see the ol’ Top Hats raised on strings gag. (0:15).

Egg 15: In the “Stars” sub-menu, type ‘9’ + enter, then ‘17’ + enter to see a fond farewell to Ewan with bagpipes on the last day of principal photography.

Brother xage - although this may seem too late, I'll post it so others would know.  ;)

Plenty of updates on Easter Eggs on different titles.

Spider Man

Easter Egg

7 Easter Eggs

Access The Egg

EASTER EGG #1 (Comic Book Movie Stills): On the first disc, go to 'Special Features' then 'Character Files'. There will be movie credits for Tobey, Kirsten, Willem, J.K - Jonah H, Rosemary - Aunt May, and Cliff - Uncle Ben. Click on one of the pictures to see their film credits. From there you have the option of going back to the list of those 6 actors, going forward to see more credits or back in case you missed one or something. Each actor has 2 pages with their film credits on it. Half on one page, the rest on the others. The following works for everyone except for Cliff's (Uncle Ben) film credit:

On the second page of any of the remaining 5 actors, you press up on your remote and the actor's name on top gets circled. Click on that and the info on their character comes out. From there you can see occupation, age, height, first appearance. The cool thing is that the images shown next to the info is a comic book picture of a scene from the movie. Such as one of them is M.J kissing Petter at the cemetary, or Goblin smashing into JJ office. There aren't many, and some are so close up they can be from an actual comic.

EASTER EGG #2 (CGI Bloopers & Gag Reel): If you put in the first disc, the one with the film itself (not the Extras disc), and you click on 'Commentaries' then you will see a picture of Harry Osborn (James Franco) on the left-hand side of the screen. If you click on the picture of Harry a new screen appears called something like "CGI Bloopers & Gag Reel".

Start this sucker up and you will first see the CGI clip of Peter Parker running over the rooftops as you see in the film, but this time he's chasing the pills as you would see in a Pac-Man game! Next up, you get to see a clip of Spidey climbing a wall - but this time it's only his hands climbing the wall - nothing else, no body, arms - nada! And finally there's a clip showing the CGI Spider-Man & Green Goblin doing aerobics... we repeat, aerobics! Sorry, that's too funny. The animated clip shows things like the skeleton of the Green Goblin model and more.

EASTER EGG #3 (Todd McFarlane Interview): In the second disk go to the DVD-ROM feature and press the UP arrow and a Spidey icon will appear. Click there and you've got an exclusive interview with Todd McFarlane talking about how Spidey makes his webs. Thats all from here.

EASTER EGG #4 (Rogue's Gallery Full Screen): On disc 2, go to the evolution of spider-man, then choose the rogue's gallery. Go to Electro, at the menu button (spidey logo) press down, you'll highlight a spidey sillhouette. Select it and you'll get the full screen version of the 3D Electro. It works also for Venom and Scorpion.

EASTER EGG #5 (History of the Sinister Six): Insert disc two (the special features disk), go to the comic section of the DVD, choose the "evolution of spider-man" option, then go to "rogues gallery". Once you are there, at the top you will see a picture of Spidey with his spidey sense tingling. Press up until his spidey sense highlights, push play and you will get a page on "the sinister six" with information and 3D photos.

EASTER EGG #6 (John Romita & John Romita Jr. Feature): Insert disc 2, select the "Web of Spider-Man" option, and then "The Evolution of Spider-Man". Once in this menu, select "Artists Gallery" and press the RIGHT button. The words "The Romitas" will appear at the upper right corner of the screen. Select them, and check out a nice video feature on the Romitas (John Romita Sr. and John Romita Jr.).

EASTER EGG #7 (Comic Book Movie Covers): On the second disc select the "Comic Book Artist Gallery" from the "Artist Gallery" section. As you browse the gallery, look for the one done by Terry Dodson (it's a black and white drawing). Highlight the camera that is used for navigating and press up. You'll see Terry Dodson's signature on the spider-man drawing. Press there and you'll be taken to another gallery that contains famous spider-man comic book covers, except that they are re-drawn with the spider-man movie costumes and faces.

Quick Navigation -- Go to the Special Features section on the first disc. Go to the Main Menu or Play Movie options on the bottom left of the screen and press left on your remote. The area around the spider in the blue will be highlighted. Press enter and and go to a screen that shows all the things you can access from the other menu's. -- [email protected]

Hope this helps!  ;)

I wonder if the R3 has these also?  ;)

Linkin Park: Frat Party At The Pancake Festival

You need to get to Title 3, Chapter 1. On my DVD player, you need to stop the DVD and hit the Goto button and enter it in. I've heard on some other DVD players, you can enter it using the Program button. There's 12 minutes of hilarious backstage footage and a few clips of live performance within. To my knowledge, it's the same footage that's on the UK "Crawling" single in Quicktime format. There's more Easter Eggs to be found, but according to Mike Shinoda of the group, you need codes to access them, and they'll be giving the codes sometime next year!

Go to CHAPTER SELECTION, and choose "One Step Closer", which will play the music video for that song. When Chester (lead singer) screams "SHUT UP!" for the last time, push ENTER on your remote. This will bring up the One Step Closer remix by the Humble Brothers that will be on the LP Remix album.

Select the "Disc Set-up" option at the main menu. Turn on the director's commentary, then play "One Step Closer" to hear the song backwards

Go to CHAPTER SELECTION, and chose "BEGINNINGS". A couple minutes into the chapter, Brad (guitarist) says "In the beginning..." and a subtitle should pop up saying the same thing. When Brad says that, push ENTER on your remote.
This will load a 1998 live performance of "Esaul", which later became known as "A Place for my Head"

In order to view the "Points of Authority" Live at Dragon festival video, simply go to the Edit Program menu under your play mode. There, select Track 2 Chapter 1.

Terminator 2: Extreme Edition

Unlock the Theatrical Cut on disc one.

While the theatrical cut of Terminator 2 is available in WMP9 format on disc two of the Extreme Edition, you can unlock it on disc one via this handy egg.

It's pretty easy to find. Highlight SENSORY CONTROL and tap RIGHT on your remote FIVE times. "The Future Is Not Set" will appear. Highlight it and press ENTER to activate the THEATRICAL CUT option.

Finding Nemo: Collector's Edition

On their 2-disc Collector’s Edition release of 'finding Nemo,' as expected Pixar has hidden a variety of additional materials, some of which are not trivial to find. Here is how to get to them all.

Insert the first disc of the set. From the Main Menu go to the 'Bonus Features.' Press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control until a small green fish appears. Press 'Enter' now and you will hear Bruce the shark take an oath to diligently look for Easter Eggs on the DVD.

On the same screen, highlight the 'Back' menu entry at the bottom of the screen and then press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote. Another green fish will appear and if you press 'Enter' you will get to see a funny little Dory and Marlin clip.

Now go to the 'Visual Commentary' section. Highlight the 'Aquarium' button and then press the 'Up' key on your remote. This will highlight another green fish and give you access to a Bruce chases Dory menu variation.

Now it is time to insert the second disc of the DVD set and go to the 'Bonus Features' section where you select 'Behind The Scenes.' In the following screen highlight the menu entry 'Studio Tour' and press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control to highlight a green fish. Press 'enter' now and you’ll get to see a funny little clip of Dory.

Now, go back to the 'Bonus Features' menu on that disc and highlight the 'Back' button in the lower right corner of the screen and then press the 'Down' key on your remote control to highlight another fish. Press 'Enter' now to see a mock commercial for the dreaded 'Aqua Scum 2003.'

Now select 'Mr. Ray’s Encyclopedia' and on the following page, highlight he 'Back' menu entry. Press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control and another green fish will be highlighted. Press 'Enter' and you get to see another funny little Dory clip.

Terminator 2: Extreme Edition

On Artisan Home Entertainment’s release of 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day: Extreme Edition' the studio has once again hidden a flurry of Easter Eggs that can be a bit tricky to uncover. Fortunately we can help…

To begin, insert the first disc of the set and on the Main Menu, highlight the 'Sensory Control' menu entry. Now press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control and keep it pressed for a few seconds. 'The Future Is Not Set' will appear on the screen in red letters. You have now switched the disc to play the Theatrical Cut of the movie, which is otherwise accessible only as a high-definition presentation as a DVD-ROM feature. Please note however, that the interactive mode and the commentary track will not work in this presentation mode.

Now, insert the second DVD in the player. On the disc’s Main Menu, just wait. After the menu is cycling a few times, suddenly the Terminator endoskeleton will appear on the screen and check you out.

Now press the 'High Definition' menu entry and press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight part of the DVD icon and give you access to the DVD production credits for this release.

Now, highlight the 'DVD ROM' menu entry and press the arrow 'Up' key on your remote control twice to highlight the pool of blood on the floor. Press 'enter' and you will get to see 'The Worst That Can Happen.'

Last, but not least, you should check this one out. Highlight the 'DVD ROM' menu entry once again and then press the 'Left' arrow key. This will highlight a box in the lower left corner of the screen. Press 'Enter' and you will now get to see a trailer for the 'Terminator 2: Ultimate Edition' DVD release.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day  Apart from the theatrical version and the Special Edition cut of the movie, Artisan Home Entertainment's phenomenal Ultimate Edition of 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day' also contains a third cut of the film, presented as a hidden feature on the disc.

Insert the side/disc that contains the feature presentation and from the disc's main menu, select 'Special Edition' which brings up a dedicated menu to access the film's Special Edition cut. On the right hand side of the panel you will notice some weird, unreadable symbols that will give you access to the hidden feature - actually they are roman numbers.

Take your remote control and press the key combination '82997' - the date of Judgment Day in the movie - and the symbols on the side should change to the text 'The Future Is Not Set.' If they don't, please make sure to press the 'Enter' key on your remote control after every one of the digits.

Once correctly entered, the eyes of the endoskeleton will light up and you will see a new menu entry appearing, giving you access to the 'Extended Special Edition' version of the movie with the alternate ending and other scenes integrated in the film.

If this approach is too tedious for you, there's an even simpler and faster way to access the additional cut. Simply use your remote control and go directly to Title 3 and you will also get to see the Extended Special Edition cut of the movie. Please consult your player's instruction manual how to directly access titles and chapters.

But there is even more hidden material on this release. Insert the second disc/side of the DVD and bring up the main menu. Don't touch any buttons, and every 30 seconds, the disc cycles through one of three different 'breaks' - in the first the lower left hand corner flickers with lightning and the words 'Join the Resistance' appear. Select it and you will find a weblink that takes you to Artisan's website. The second break is a small head of Beethoven, which will take you to the original Swelltone trailer, and the most impressive, third break comes in the shape of the T-1000. His head will morph out of the center of the screen and says 'Get Out!' These three breaks are cycled at random

The Terminator: Special Edition
On MGM Home Entertainment’s Special Edition release of James Cameron’s 'The Terminator' a whole lot of additional material is well hidden on the disc.

Insert the side of the DVD that contains the actual movie, not the supplements, and from the main menu, go to 'Special Features.' Once there, highlight the 'Resume Film' menu entry and then press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control to highlight a small block at the top of the screen. Now, press 'Enter' and you will get to see one of four interview featurettes that are hidden here. Repeat the exact same procedure to see them all as they are randomly selected every time you activate this Easter Egg.

Another hidden feature can be found in the 'Languages' submenu. Go there and select the 'Français' menu entry for 'Spoken Language.' Then, press the 'Right' arrow key to highlight a small block, which will give you access to another set of five interview featurettes that are randomly selected every time you activate this Easter Egg.

And another hidden feature can be found in the 'Scene Selections.' Select the chapter stops for chapter 13-16, and then highlight the 'Main Menu' entry at the bottom of the screen. Now, press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control to highlight another box on the screen, which will give you access to another five interview segments that are randomly selected every time you activate this Easter Egg, so make sure to keep visiting it repeatedly.

More such hidden interview segments can be found in the chapter selection '21-24' and '25-29', as well as under the DVD-ROM extras. Check them out!

The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring
On the Extended Version of 'Lord of the Rings:  The Fellowship of the Ring' you can find some exciting gimmicks that are hidden in the set.

Insert the first disc of the set and go to the 'Scene Selections.' There select scenes '25-27' and then highlight the menu entry that says 'Council of Elrond.' Now press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control to highlight on icon of the One Ring. Press 'enter' now and you will have the chance to see a special MTV-version of the Council of Elrond – a hilarious treat!

Insert the second disc of the set and go to the 'Scene Selections.' There select the menu entry for scene '48' to get to the 'Official Fan Club Credits.' Highlight the number '48' on that screen and then press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control to highlight an icon of two towers and you will get to see the theatrical preview for 'The Two Towers.'

The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers  On New Line Home Entertainment’s Extended Edition release of 'The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers' the studio has once again hidden some additional material that is definitely worth checking out.

Insert the first DVD from the box set – the one containing the first half of the movie. From the Main Menu go to the 'Select A Scene' submenu where you proceed to go to the last page of these scene selections. Now highlight the 'Of Herbs And Stewed Rabbit' menu entry and press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control. The One Ring will appear on the screen now and if you press 'Enter' you will see some footage of Peter Jackson congratulating you to finding this Easter Egg, followed by the clip from the MTV Movie Awards featuring Gollum’s hilarious acceptance speech for 'Best Virtual Performance.'

Grr...

I just checked http://www.dvdeastereggs.com, and it seems the two easter eggs on the R1 S.W.A.T. disc are both missing from the R3.  >:(

They would've been fun to see. I guess you get what you pay for.  :-\

I have the S.W.A.T. R3 and the easter eggs did work for me...

I have the S.W.A.T. R3 and the easter eggs did work for me...

Really? These Easter Eggs?

1. From the Main Menu, go into Special Features. Go into Deleted Scenes and highlight 'Hondo reviews files at home'. Press left twice & up once to highlight Street's badge and press enter to see a real police chase during the filming of the scene where the plane is on the bridge.

2. Go to the second page of the special features, highlight Achieving the Improbable and press right right down down to highlight hondo's hat to see the cast play golf with some sarcastic remarks by a commentator

I tried to access these eggs on my R3 on a Samsung and they both didn't work.

Oops! The golf one works on my Nextbase. My mistake. But I can't access the other one using the method described above. Help?

Thanks!  :)

Typed search and didn't see this topic except for some discussions for the LOTR sets. I could be wrong.

Anyway, who would like to share DVD easter eggs ?

I've been looking for an X-men movie hidden feature but can't find it ? Who can help ?

El Zar,

here it is:

Two very exciting hidden features can be found on 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment's release of Bryan Singer's adaptation of 'X-Men.'

From the disc's main menu go to the Trailers and TV Spots section. Once there, press the left arrow key on your remote control and you will highlight the rose in the upper left corner of the screen. Now press 'Enter' and you will get to see a hilarious practical joke scene in which the X-Men meet another superhero from the comic books!

The second hidden feature can be found in the Art Gallery on the disc. At the bottom of the screen you will see Wolverine's dog tags that can be selected using your remote control. Highlight them and press 'Enter' and you will get to see character designs for Beast and the Blob, both X-Men characters that did not make it into this film but may make their appearance in the sequel.
This hidden feature has been submitted to us by Scott Alexander Thomson and Xavier Hugonet.

Star Wars Trilogy

Movie Discs:
Each movie disc has a set of 3 different animated menu schemes, patterned around the major worlds visited in each film. The different menu sets are randomly accessed when you boot up the disc. However, it is possible to directly access each scheme individually with the use of special codes. During the Attention warning screen on each movie disc, try entering the following codes with your remote:

Code 1 - "Audio"
Code 2 - "2"
Code 3 - "10+", "2" (or "12" depending on your player), then "2" again

Each of these should allow you to access a different specific menu scheme on the movie discs.

Bonus Disc:
To access a Star Wars Trilogy gag reel, go to the Video Game & Still Galleries menu page. Using your remote, press "10+", "1" (or "11" depending on your player) and wait for the pause as the player accepts the input (note that a small box next to R2-D2 will illuminate if you're on the right track). Then press "3" and wait for the pause. Finally, press "8".

Glengarry GlenRoss

1. Insert Disc Two.

2. When the main menu comes up, click on “Special Features.”

3. You should get a menu of special features, but there is an extra feature hidden to the left of the menu. If you’re accessing the DVD on a computer, take your cursor over to the door in the background of the Special Features menu. Or, if you’re accessing the DVD on a TV screen, scroll down until you highlight “Main Menu” and then hit the “Left” button on your DVD remote.

4. The word “BAR” should be highlighted on the door. Click on it.

You are then treated to a 7-and-a-half minute reel of auditioning actors taking a crack at the infamous Blake (Alec Baldwin) monologue in the movie.

Se7en : New Line Platinum Series

Disc 1:
About 3/4 of the way through the 1st commentary, with Fincher, Pitt and Freeman, another (unlisted) commentary starts up, with an actor integral to the whole surprise appearance of him in the movie. Although most people KNOW who I'm talking about, I'd rather not spoil it for the people who havent seen it.

Go to the menu on the first disc. Bring up the Set Up Options. Highlight the paper clip. Press Enter. It brings up the pattern you see when a TV station goes off the air.

Disc 2:
Go to the main menu. Scroll down until you get to the last option. On the right you will see the "SE7EN" logo. Once you're at the last option, hit the right button and a square under the logo will light up. Hit the enter button, and you will be able to page through the credits of the technical companies who contributed to the DVD.

As you're reading the credits, look for the logo of each company. Highlighting them will take you to additional information about them.

Gladiator Signature Series

To access the hidden feature, insert the second disc of the set - the one with all the supplemental material - and go to the disc's main menu.

From there, go to the second page of special features where you select 'Trailers and TV Spots.' In this submenu, press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control and the amulet around Richard Harris' neck will be highlighted. If you press 'Enter' now you will get to see a special 'Chicken Run' trailer that is themed after 'Gladiator' and even uses the film's music.

There's another hidden feature on the supplemental disc of the set that you should check out. Go to the 'Storyboards' menu on that disc and chose the Rhino Fight - a scene that never made it into the film. When the first storyboard comes up, press the arrow 'Up' key on your remote control and you will highlight the rhino in the center frame. Press 'Enter' now and you can read the script for the proposed scene and can even take a look at some of the CGI test footage prepared for it.

Magnolia: Platinum Series

New Line Home Video has hidden some great outtakes and bloopers on their 2-disc Special Edition of 'Magnolia.'

In best Criterion manner you can find color bars on the first disc of the box set which can help adjusting your TV set. Simply select these 'Color Bars' from the disc's main menu and wait for about 20 seconds. Suddenly the bars disappear and are replaced by 8 minutes of hilarious bloopers and outtakes from the movie. Check out Tom Cruise messing up his lines, or Luis Guzman in his 'Bath' scene.

Once the bloopers are over, the disc will return to its 'regular programming' - the color bars.

press on the up or down buttons of your remote until you highlight the HBOfilms logo. Click on it, and it will take you to the credits of the DVD production.

This egg can be found on side A of the DVD, where in the movie is. Elephant (A Columbine-esque film directed by Gus van Sant) DVD is a flipper. Features on side B.  :P

4.  Highlight the shadow and press ok, you'll see a hidden bloopers reel

please check also the video after the credits found at the end of the film, you'll see Irene, Whitey, Charlie & the 3 sons fishing the lost thumb, very hilarious!

The Incredibles
On Disney’s DVD release of the animated Pixar masterpiece 'The Incredibles' the studio has also added some extras, hidden from immediate view.

Let’s start on the first disc of the DVD set. From the Main Menu go to the 'Commentaries' section and there simply wait for a little while. Eventually a silhouette of Mr. Incredible will show up which you can select using the directional keys on your remote control. Press 'Enter' then and you will see some clips of Mr. Incredible doing some delightfully ordinary dancing in his living room.

Now, insert the second disc of the DVD set in your player and on the Main Menu, highlight the menu entry 'Intro' and then wait for some time without doing anything. After about 20 seconds or so, the Omnidroid will appear on the menu. Now press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control to highlight Omnidroid and press the 'Enter' key and view a series of explosions from the movie.

Now go to the 'Deleted Scenes' menu on the second disc. An icon of the Omnidroid will eventually appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control to highlight the icon, then press 'Enter.' You'll see a deleted scene of what took place before Dash put the thumbtack on the teacher's chair.

Now, go to the 'Behind The Scenes' menu. The menu will cycle through each family member. When it gets to Jack Jack, an icon of an Omnidroid will eventually appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Press 'Up' on your remote control to highlight the icon, then press 'Enter' to see one of two clips. The first clip has Brad Bird talking about Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston (veteran Disney animators), while the second clip is titled 'Markisms'.

Let’s go on to the 'More Making Of The Incredibles' section now. An icon of an
Omnidroid will eventually appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Press 'Up' on your remote control to highlight the icon, then press 'Enter' to see one of two randomly selected clips. The first clip is a rough animation of Dash and one of the guards, while the second clip is a rough animation of Mr. Incredible throwing a rock at a guard.

In the 'Publicity' section of the disc an icon of an Omnidroid will also appear after some time, this time in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Press 'Up' to highlight the icon, then press 'Enter' to see one of two random clips. The first clip features Dash & Mr. Incredible, while
the second clip features Mr. Incredible & Frozone.

Time to visit the 'Set Up' menu. An icon of an Omnidroid will eventually appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Press 'Up' followed by 'Enter' and you’ll see a hilarious sock-puppet version of the movie!

Now go to the 'Index' menu on the disc. On the first page of the menu, an icon of an Omnidroid will appear after a while. Press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control to highlight the icon, then press 'Enter.' You'll see a clip about the cake-eating scene. On the second page of the menu, an icon of an Omnidroid will eventually appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Press 'Up' and then 'Enter' to see a Pixar employee being attacked by a big red ball!

Insert the DVD in your player and from the Main Menu go to the 'Chapter' selections. There, highlight chapter 15 and then press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight a bottle of wine. If you press 'enter' now you will get to see a 3 1/5 minute series of behind-the-scenes photographs of the cast and crew.

Some bigger extras are vicariously hidden on the DVD and cannot be accessed directly through the use of the menus. Jump directly to Title #2 on the DVD – please use your DVD player’s instruction manual how to directly access titles as it is different for each model – and you will unlock a silly fake behind-the-scenes video on production 'overrun' that runs over 16 minutes.

After that, directly access Title #4 that will give you access to funny bloopers and shots of the crew on location, running 14 minutes in length. So, an additional 30 minutes of secret footage of 'Sideways' await...

easter egg in dvd parlance meant you are looking for hidden features on the dvd. term would probably be taken from easter egg hunt.

its fun looking for easter eggs specially if the feature is worth it (i remember the easter egg in FOTR extended edition - which is if you find it you will see the mtv spoof of fotr  ;D)
