I actually got the same email from Jimmy himself. Since I don't think he'd be plugging his competition, Astro siguro yan. I've only been to Trinoma twice and haven't really explored, I've also only seen the fourth floor Astro. Maybe there are two Astros? If not, I don't see why he'd specify "TRINOMA LEVEL ONE NEAR MRT ENTRANCE..." instead of just saying "TRINOMA APRIL 4-6..."

As far as I know, may store nga akong nakita near the MRT entrance, but I forgot if it's Astro or not. But the store was smaller than that on the 4th floor.

sir yung malapit sa entrance ng mrt, if ground floor sa landmark yun , if 2nd flr yung maliit na store odyssey yun, ang astro na sa 4th level near mcdonalds

Maybe Astro owns the Landmark DVD shop? It would just be very weird for Jimmy to plug a sale that isn't his own. :o

rico_g, that's 100% correct. Here's an email I just received from Jimmy:
For clarification, OUR 3 DAY SALE will be at Trinoma ground floor near mrt entance. It's just a temporary space for the sale duration. We have a permanent store space at the 4th level, thanks.

...been there already, nice sale, same as the previous astroplus makati and podium sale, prices are from 150, 175, 2 for 199, 275 and 375 (50% Off)

Though medyo konti pa lang ang mga titles, maybe tonight or the next days may mga madagdag pa :)

Prices are mostLy the same I think compared to the previous big saLes. Kind of dissapointed w/ some the Warners though 'cause Batman Returns/Forever and The Fugitive were stiLL at their reguLar prices (stiLL ok though 'cause I didn't have enough money with me anyway). :D
Oh, and here's how I'd rate the three BIG Astro saLes so far ;D ;D ;D

Dang! I got mine for Php 375 from Astro SM MOA! >:(
Other than that I also got Funny Face and All The King's Men (old movie) for Php 175 each.
My real targets, which are the new Magnas (Stardust, The Kingdom, Atonement and Elizabeth - The Golden Age) are sadly still at full price (Php 695).
I also saw Enchanted priced at Php 550 in the Trinoma sale. Happily, it's a non-slipcased variant.

MOA (SM Mall of Asia) and Trinoma (Traingle North of Manila) are in the extreme ends of EDSA (Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue) in Metro Manila, Philippines. ;)

I'm not sure. The sale was orginally April 4-7. Sabi sa kin saleslady when I was there on April 4 na "until next week pa sale nila". So I think that would only be extended the week immediately following.

Nope, the sale ended on April 7th. I guess what they meant by next week was Monday April 7.
