are there any 40'' full hd lcd that fits my 50k budget can stretch a 'lil more below 60k)? i will use this in my bedroom mainly for htpc (browsing/mkv) & cable tv viewing. also, the viewing distance is about 10-15 ft so the fonts should be clear and visible.

^^^ LG 42LH70 goes for 62k cash sa automatic centre. Yung 40B530 naman you can get it for 48k.. My friend bought it from tpc with official manufacturer's warranty.

I visited western today (makati/pasay road/near edsa). panasonic viera lcd 32 inches. th l32c10, P20 thou na lang
cash. kaya pa nga yata sa 19,500.00 . Sa sabado ako bibili. mapapaaga ang gift ko sa nanay ko. yehey.

Pahabol!!!. yung samsung series 3 b350 P24,000.00 naman.may warranty pa from samsung. ang mura na.

thanks stat. maganda na kaya ang samsung b530 as pc monitor for browsing? sa mkv, im sure na ok na 'to at sa cable viewing naman i understand na di masyado maganda ang lcd.

comparing to the B550 ano kayang improvement na makita mo vs the B530? i need to know if there are any issues regarding font clarity & etc. does the bigger size lcd tv displays the same pic quality compared to the samsung 19'' monitors? im happy with my 19'' 4:3 samsung monitor. if it delivers the same pic, happy na rin ako.

Simple lang sir, kung gusto mo bumili na makatipid ka puede naman kahit 1080p capable
na lcd/plasma tv. meron naman yan na hdmi. kailangan mo lang yung dvd player mo
capable din sa 1080p. Kung manonod ka lang ng tv programming, kahit na naka hd
ka. normal resolution lang ang feed ng tv. gamit ko now is panasonic pv8. capable sya
sa hd/1080p dahil naka xde toshiba ako na puede upscale yung resolution to 1080p.

Tanong ka sa salesman na anong model ng samsung na puedeng upgrade to 1080p resolution kung gagamit ka nang dvd upscaling to 1080p like toshiba xde500 o pioneer dvd 410. ang pagkakaalam ko puede
na yung samsung series 3 b350. Yung panasonic lcd c10 32 inches mas mura pa 19,500 lang hangang 20,000.00. puede na rin yun at mura pa.

ok sir, i am looking kasi for a 40'' full hd tv with a budget of 50-55k. i don't want to ask the salesman, alam mo na bias sila sa mga binebenta nila. that's why i inquired here hoping someone could chime in with experience hooking up a 40'' full hd tv (around my budget) using an htpc. i just want to make sure na tama ang choice ko baka magsisi lang ako kung sakaling hindi malinaw ang fonts, hindi full screen ang display and other things that may caught me in surprise.

also, never planned of hooking it up to a dvd. since i got my pch a-100 my pio dv600 is now a paper weight

btw, i have a 50pv70 and tried connecting my bro's htpc (w/ onboard graphics) through hdmi, very clear naman ang fonts at 4.5 meters away. i just want to try an lcd this time in my bedroom so i will have peace of mind regardng burn-in. i know this is a thing in the past and did not experiece it on my plasma. the tv in my bedroom kasi is used longer than the tv room + dagdag pa ang usage kung connected to a pc.

sorry sir, not planning of downsizing my japan made 50pv70 in my tv room. again, i want to add another set for bedroom use. i need inputs po re full hd lcd for htpc/cable viewing.

Grabe, magpalit ng technology, especially samsung, galing sa innovation. yung lcd format nila in a few years wala na yan, nandyan na yung led tv, then after years may kapalit kagad. parang format na ng cellphone yung resolution , siguradong matipid na talaga sa power consumption. Ay naku, kaya walang
tigil sa pag palit ng tv dito pdvd!!!

at maganda yan sa consumers, lalong mumura ang

Just thought to let you know,

Sanyo Vizon 42" CA9S LCD is going for 29K at SM appliance center promo in Megatrade Hall at SM Megamall. They also had 37" for 27K, pero ubos na daw.

Ipe-phase out na daw kasi (Jan 2009 line daw, na na-supersede ng April 2009 line), so they dropped the price really really low, and from the looks of it, they've gone really, really fast; they only started last Oct 24, naubos na yung lower sizes, and 20 na lang daw yung 42".

I don't know how this series performs compared to others, and can't seem to find reviews, but the videos they were showing (traliers of GI Joe and Toward the Terra) looked pretty darn good.

I'm not going to get a Sanyo, but others might be interested.
