Guys, may media player na ba supported ung 4k HDR? Last time I checked, 4k pa lang supported.

Ginagawa ko right now is play the movie directly sa TV via USB. Nadedetect ng TV na HDR sya and auto switch nya picture settings to "HDR brightness". Parang lumalabas I'm better off with the TV as media player mas maganda pa picture quality since displayed ung movie in 4k HDR compared sa PC na 4k SDR lang.. Btw Im using Kodi 17.4 on the PC.

Btw, the movie is encoded in HEVC HDR10

Hi-Media Q10 Pro supports 4K with HDR

Hi-Media Q10 Pro supports 4K with HDR

Thanks, I also have an NMT that supports 4k HDR. I just wanted my current PC to follow the same route.

4k yes, HDR not yet.

^Nope, get at least 4GB of graphics memory. GTX 1050ti ang minimum pascal-based GPU for smooth 4k HDR playback.

^yep, matakaw kasi sa graphics memory ang 8.3M pixels per frame tapos 24, 30 or 60 frames per sec.. The HDR content will probably consume some of the graphics memory too. Currently my total gpu memory is at 6+GB, playing a 4k 40GB movie file size will take 40+% GPU memory utilization (non HDR movie pa un). I haven't checked it if how much GPU memory pag 4k/HDR movie. If 2GB memory lang, Im sure nasa 100% utilization na ung GPU mo which will cause stuttering..

4GB lang ang GTX 1050ti, ung 6GB na mention ko is shared graphics memory (GPU+APU/onboard).

You can always scale it down. :D Youtube allows bitrate 4X that of typical Blurays when running in 8K.

mga sir recently namatayan me ng harddrive. years worth of photos, videos, files and all gone in an instant ang sakit :( tanong ko lang kung ano po bang ok na setup para di na to maulit? yung mura lang po sana and madaling gamitin. alin po mas ok drobo or synology?
