Shipping Plasmas or LCDs
« on: Mar 20, 2010 at 08:55 PM »
Has anyone tried ordering Plasmas or LCDs from the US and having it shipped here? Is it safe and how much does it usually cost to ship a 50" plasma?

it will costs you about P18,000-P20,000 just to ship it. When the prices of plasmas/lcds were in the P100,000+,it was worth taking a chance to have it shipped. But now you can buy plasmas/lcds for only P37,000. So IMO its no longer worth it.
84" 100" 120" 150" Motorized or Manual Projector Screens still available. Just pm.

We just had a 50" Plasma shipped here and the cost was 350 dollars. Thankfully the item arrived here safely. It took about a month for it to get here.

37k will only get you a 720p 37" LCD or plasma

50" Full HD panasonic in the US is around $1000

50" Panasonic s10 here is roughly around 100k

Not bad.. LCDs and Plasmas are cheaper there. Do they pay for insurance?

This is true.. Not worth it shipping it on your own.

Worth it if you buy full HD 50V.
