Ok..Personally, In my humble opinion. All NMT's had their strong points and weak points. Measy NMT for me is simplicity in design with almost complete output you ever need (RGB, RCA, HDMI, Optical, Coaxial). Also, 2 slots for USB input.

One important factor also is..it support internal 3.5" SATA hard drive up to 2TB capacity. This way, I wont be needing another power source to boot up an external hard drive. Well, the 2 USB input slot also can have for additional HD when needed. ALso, 3.5" SATA Hard Drive is Cheaper than 2.5" HD and had a bigger capacity available than the 2.5".

A Ventilation at the back of the unit also is important. I've tested 3 days without turning off the unit and it is still work well.

Regarding Chipset...my honest opinion. SIgma is the number 1 and maybe Realtec is the number 2. So sigma is like a ACCORD..While Realtec maybe a CIVIC. Measy uses a Realtec Chipset. So you will notice the price for a Sigma Chipset player (Popcorn Hour, WDTV, Egreat, etc.) might be higher than Realtec. So in the Realtec Chipset category like Xtreamer, Med8er, Measy. Value for Money wise is the Measy Player.

Software side I think almost the same. Ofcourse direct BT is a plus for an NMT. And some Measy customer like MAV14 had been able to direct BT download in the unit. But I personally haven't done it yet. So I don't market it as BT direct downloader.

ah...Well, this is for now that I can compare Measy with other NMT. If I had any wrong comparison or comment. Kindly inform me.

Thanks! and God Bless!

btw, pls visit www.ccf.org.ph (this site helps a LOT).

With the movie jukebox feature, a local selling price of P6,000 (includes wi-fi antenna, HDMI cable, no HDD) and regular FW updates, the Xtreamer w/ SideWinder appears to be a better buy than the Measy. Can anyone comment as to whether the Measy is still better performance-wise and/or price-wise?

(Note: Re the Xtreamer pricing, check out the post of annot in the PDVD Marketplace.)

IMO the difference of this player over Xtreamer is the 3.5 internal HD. I dont know the performance coz i dont own this player ::)

Hello...sorry. Recently, I emailed my supplier and bring the warranty issue to them...As their explanation, minimal lang daw 1st few purchase ko and they think its for personal use lang.

Anyway, Now I was awarded as their Exclusive distributor here in Phil.  In other word, maganda feedback ng item natin dito and they acknowledge our dealership.

I'm happy to annouce that the Power Adaptor and even the Remote is now warrantied.

Bro glaks...pag nasira pa power adaptor mo. Palitan natin yan NO CHARGE.

Thanks for the support :-)

What I meant was ... Comparison of download of same torrent file of PC vs Measy.  How was the download speed variance?

Btw, Using the Cinematube Bit torrent feature was much slower vs PC.

Sorry Sir, does'nt mean to offend in any way, what I mean is you can't really compare the download speed, for example right now, my torrent A in my PC says its already 91.8% but in measy its only 26%, my torrent B registers 50% in measy but only 9.2% in my PC. Both torrent I uploaded at the same date, measy and pc turns on and off at the same time. Pero sir minsan nakaka tsamba ang measy, first time I use the BT function of measy, I downloaded a very popular torrent, it took only 5 hrs lang ;) ;)

Hi, how did you enable the BT in Measy?
Mine is always OFF, even when I press ON.

Thanks.
