A Simple finish on the cabinet for a simple Zigmahornet speakers.  For the meantime, I will use the Bose Companion 2 speaker driver on zigmahornet speakers.  Since the experiment is successful, I am planning for  Audio Nirvana Super 3 in Cast Frame which will cost me P5-7K approximately (including shipping and Phil.Custom :().  $78 lang pair pag sa U.S taga U.S lang. But of coarse not at this moment.

Here is the picture of finished Zigmahornet Cabinet.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Here is the Audio Nirvana Super 3 in Cast Frame  $78 pair from  commonsense audio of David Dicks, which I plan to use if budget really permits.  I want to test it if it Super 3 is good as Super 8.  Though, I am sure Super 8 has better frequency range.

Nice one monreq! Parinig naman. Those 2.8" Bose drivers look very cute on your zigmas.

@ninjababez

Actually, combination of 3/4, 5/8 at 1/2 plywood ito. Mga scrap plywood ko from previous projs. I'm experimenting on 2 configs right now: the Sonys mated with a neo3 plannar ribbon tweeter and another mated with a pioneer pt-205 horn tweeter. So far, the neo3 tweeters sound very good but a bit diffused. Naka-toe out sila to get better imaging. Ang ganda ng timbre. Sarap ihataw with the wharfe passive 12" woofers in a bi-amp config with a cut-off at around 50hz. Rene/ojofool suggested that i reverse the polarity. I will try this today and find out. Si ojofool ang experto sa mga neo3 having used and experimented on these for years na.

Ganda ganda ng install nya sa drivers ano? Flushmounted sa likod kaya di kita yun pinag-screw.  :)
Sabi ko syo try mo reverse polarity eh.  ;D Naks naman. Pa-bi-amp bi-amp na lang ang neighbor ko.  ;) You forgot to mention na dual woofers ka na. And, active configuration na ang woofers mo.  ;D

ipa-calibrate mo sa friendly neighbor - the man with the golden ears master nelson!

try mo yung newer version up to 28khz. ma-pm nga si bigbert2 para sa feedback ng new neos nya

btw, sakto sa t-amps ang mga speakers mo   ;D  ::)

OK lang pala yung retaso bro, wala ba syang effect sa output?  or i just have to make sure na pantay sila sa kapares? :D

May effect din if you mix them up. For ex., 3/4 kapal nung isa, tapos 5/8 naman yung isa. Or, naghalo yung kapal ng plywood. Most likely diffused yung sound. Kahapon ko lang napansin na baligtad position ng speakers kaya pala diffused. Ok na ngayon. I'm just making some adjustments para makuha yung pinpoint imaging.

The original wood used for the ziggies are birch ply.. I was thinking to make this project but i hold back due to availability ng birch ply.. Acoustically birch ply is better than marine.. I tried asking the two bald guys sa US
they said use 1/2 marine ply.. But im still worried cos theres a saying "the birch ply effect" which most speakers are using and never used marine ply.. It would really make a diffrence sa sound.. I also spoke with bro anthony before about the project he just said it would just fail bec of the wood that will be used i have to treat the marine ply internally to get the "birch ply effect" or else i need to make a baffle compensation circuit which should not be needed with the original zigmahornet plan
