Tried the single driver route before. These things are very revealing and coherent. Tubes appears to work better with this design. With paper based drivers and tubes - the voices are just right. More realistic than multi driver designs.

Great thing is source for these speakers are not that expensive - flea amps will do :)

After, the next real problem is getting good music files / recordings (I am shifting to digital files from CD). Reason I changed from this is that most pop recordings sound bad - and thats being kind. But I do listen to a lot of these kinds of recordings... >:(

Really nice DIY speakers here.

I understand what your trying to say..there are some recordings sound bad sa FR drivers so thats the same reason why I keep more than one kind of set up.. Depends on my listening mood.. :)

  natuloy po ba yung plan nyo na kabitan ng AN yung Zigmahornet cabinet nyo?

    how was it?  how much po ba landed cost (Ph tax and shipping) ng 4" na AN kung sakali?
