Jailbait! perhaps not the little boy  ;D

Bran Stark's not bad-looking either.

Man, he's growing up fast. Can Hodor still carry him around in Season 5?

Finally started watching the 2nd season

1.  Forgotten some characters and back stories so I had to backread yung synopsis ng 1st season eps
2.  Oh, the star of The Black Book (highly recommended!) has joined pala as the woman of the elder Baratheon, while the star of The Tudors sa gay Baratheon. Hubadera pareho so what else to expect.
3.  The kids have grown bigger and taller
4.  The Imp seems to have lost some of his faux-English accent - but he still rules!
4.  Many characters look dirtier.  hehehe
5.  I'm still hoping that Ned Stark gets resurrected somehow (parang Pinoy telenovela naman yata yon).

Still an awesome TV show.

I've been watching this Series and reading the books alternately...and I have to say that the TV series has been very loyal to the books... words and sentences exactly how it was written down in the book.

Which is good, btw.

I always try to stay away from books as I prefer to watch something with no idea whatsoever how the story would evolve.

BTW,  dumb question but what are the SEVEN Kingdoms?  Parang kulang pa yata yung presented sa TV show so far?

edit: just did a wiki.. seems like its more of 7 houses which rules the kingdoms:
on the top of my head, let me recall:

1. house stark
2. house barratheon
3. house tully
4. house lannister
5. house targaryen
6. house arryn
7. house tyrell

Parang misnomer na yung "Seven Kingdoms", because if you read through the book, by my count, there are at least 8 portions to the Seven Kingdoms, namely:  1) The North 2) The Vale of Arryn 3) Riverlands 4) The Iron Islands 5) The Westerlands 6) The Stormlands 7) Dorne 8) The Reach.

And then, there are at least 9 houses, if i counted correctly: 1) House Baratheon 2) House Stark 3) House Tully 4) House Lannister 5) House Targaryen 6) House Arryn 7) House Frey 8) House Tyrell 9) House Greyjoy.

i agree.. more than 7 kingdoms and more than 9 houses.. pero baka may back story kaya naging limited sa 7 kingdoms? ang pagkakaintindi ko kasi based on what i watched and read and viewed sa comics.. parang may 7 kingdoms dati, which were united by the dragon king (targaryen) tapos nakuha ng house baratheon...

para siguron lord of the rings to.. one ring to rule them all... :D

Seven Kingdoms

The Seven Kingdoms is a realm located on the continent of Westeros, ruled by the king who sits on the Iron Throne in the capital city, King's Landing. The name dates before the time of when Aegon the Conqueror set to unite the lands of Westeros, when there were seven independent kingdoms. Today there are nine distinct regions

I believe House Frey is a MINOR House. They are in lieged with House Tully. As I understand it, there are more than 7 Houses because kapag yumaman ka sa Westeros puwede kang maging "House" but you have to pledge allegience to one of the 7 major Houses na mas mayaman and mas elder sa iyo. Kapag nasa North ka, you pledge to House Stark, kapag nasa Riverlands ka, you pledge to House Tully.

true for season 1.. not really for season 2.. the writers deliberately changed some scenes in season 2 to avoid introducing so many characters that may throw off the viewers..

Actually, what i've noticed in Season 2 is that they've been jumbling up the chronology a little bit. And some words/sentences that were said by a character in the book were instead said by one of the main characters in the TV series.

it's  ok for me if they jumble the chronology.. but to make things up different from the books.. like Osha sleeping with Theon so that the Stark kids could escape.. btw where are the Reed kids? Daenarys's dragons being stolen.. Pyat Pree killing the Thirteen..? RObb hooking up with Talisa instead of Jeyne Westerling and the rest of the Westerling clan.. Arya being a cupbearer for Tywin instead of Roose Bolton, Sansa almost being raped instead of Lollys who was actually raped.. etc.. those were not in the books if im not mistaken.. hmm.. what will the fans say about this..  it's like LOTR trilogy movies all over again.. fans didn't like what Peter Jackson did for the Two Towers.. Sam at odds with Frodo? hmmm..

George R.R. Martin confirmed that the Reed kids will be introduced in Season 3. As for the Danaerys storyline, I was wondering how they were gonna handle it in the show because the storyline though perfectly fine in book form, lacks drama and conflict. It would be kind of jarring if they adapted it as is so they had invent something more dramatic. I personally love Arya's relationship with Tywin.

George R.R. Martin is one of the producers and also writes for the show. So any changes from the books has his approval.

Yep, she revealed that nice body & tush the last episode. Bit of trivia from IMDB, Talisa is played by Oona Chaplin. Granddaughter of the great Charlie Chaplin.

watched episode 9. for me, this is the best episode of the season. written by george r.r. martin himself. this episode is more faithful to the book than the rest of the season, although missed some of the action due to budget constraints..  :)

Half-man! Half-man! Half-man!  ;D

Agree that the action scenes were a bit "small-scale." After movies with awesome siege productions like LOTR and Kingdom of Heaven, maybe my expectations were too high for a TV series. Still awesome though.

Agree. I haven't reached this point in the book yet but the last two episodes were underwhelming. This one was really exciting with a lot of character moments and that reveal of blowing up the ships with the wildfire.
