Yes...
But it would mean alot more if Jon will be the one to kill her...

Perhaps Arya in Jon's disguise?  :o

i think there's a reason why arya witnessed all that carnage and drogon's rain of fire from the ground, setting up the green eyes scenario.

She'd have to kill Jon first to get his face though.

I like how the season is wrapping up. Have always seen Daenerys as a mad conqueror with a tendency to burn things up.

I'd rather see the show go down the way it is than a Tita Dany and Jon wedding and coronation while Drogon is flying over King's Landing.

I think the point is that all these events pushed her over the edge turning her from a mad Queen to a Mad Queen.  :)

Yeah, but she's gone through far worse. The Lannisters already surrendered. What triggered her?

crazy how Euron who offed the most named characters in the show lost to a dying one handed Jaime. Up until this week he was invincible. Also poor Jaime. I like the Cleganebowl. Jon Snow being portrayed as an imbecile again.  I wonder if and how they plan on stopping Dany with her dragon and the remainder Unsullied/Dothraki. Even if Dany is killed her loyal followers are gonna be a problem. /spoiler]

Looks to me like she was already pretty crazy at the start of the episode.  It may seem abrupt (mainly due to the shortened season) but the past episodes this season were all leading to this.  There is no logic to crazy   I guess.

True, but the problem was the build up to her madness just wasn't enough. She's seen worse all her life tapos 2 episodes lang, crazy na?

Yup. Root of all problems is how the showrunners D&D (David Benioff & D. B. Weiss) decided to only give us 13 episodes over 2 seasons to conclude the story.

It's not about the budget. It's not any fault of HBO. Yung showrunners lang talaga ang ayaw nang patagalin pa ang GoT and the only reason anyone can think of is that they want to jump ship to their Star Wars gig with Disney ASAP, kaya ayan na-sacrifice ang quality ng Season 8.

Yeah, personally, I had no problem they went with the Mad Queen arc. It's been on the cards and hinted at since season one. It was a possibility but Dany IS such a likable character, we were blind-sided by the signs. It definitely would've been benefited from more episodes so they could build it up properly towards it and the audience backlash would not have been as harsh.

I believe that was part of the strategy of Cersei and this was mentioned in one of the previous episodes, to make Dany hesitate in attacking.

Blame it all to the Northerners on how they treated her. She could have claimed Kings Landing earlier with her healthy Dragons and full force army. It all went downward spiral when she arrived North and lost the people and children she relied on. Not to mention the absence of the Lannister army during the long night. So yeah, I'd buy her madness. Dracarys

Edit: Remember this conversation between the badass Olenna Tyrell and Dany? Dany should have listened.

What triggered her? Jon Snow is the culprit here. Deanarys was expecting and seeking some love time (S-E-X) with Jon and he denied her twice pushing her to snap ;-)!

I once had a friend go into deep episodes of depression and anxiety, the psychiatrist prescribed more sex. It worked.

Naiisip nya yata na tita nya si Dany.  Dapat sinundo  na lang ni Dany  si Daario Naharis. He never withholds the D from the Dragon queen :D

This season so far has been disappointing, I know I'm not alone. It's not the worst season ender but it just does not reach the heights of the previous seasons.

Here's what I thought of S08E05

Denearys descent into madness is plausible and has been hinted at ever since the first season so I buy into the Mad Queen arc. Execution however, in this last season is sloppy.

Dany burning King's Landing was also expected when Missandei exclaimed "Dracarys" in the previous episode.

Jon Snow like another member said here has been an imbecile all season, honestly he could've done something.

Arya and the Hound's farewell exchange almost brought a tear to my eye, I knew at that moment it would be their last.

Cleganebowl was definitely a highlight.

Qyburn's death was funny.

Cersei and Jamie's ending was done well.

Missed opportunities
Dany and Cersei had no face to face at all.

Season 8 so far is going to be a 5 or 6 over 10 for me.

That's low when GOT has been scoring a strong 8-10 in the previous seasons in my book.
