Need Help: Setting-up Home entertainment network
« on: Feb 22, 2011 at 09:01 AM »
Hi guys, I need some suggestions.

Currently, I have an entertainment room w/ the following:
Panasonic 42PV8 Plasma
Kenwood AV receiver
Pioneer DVD player
HTPC (connected to Plasma via DVI to HDMI, to AV via 6-channel)

In the Master's bedroom:
Samsung 37C550

In my son's bedroom:
Toshiba 24PB1

Since the PB1 doesn't have it's own media player, what do I need to be able to connect it to my HTPC via Wifi?  I also have a 1TB external HDD, so I'm wondering if there's a device that I can attach it to and connect the device to my PB1 and at the same time share it via DLNA so I can access it from my C550?

Also, I'm trying to share the dvd-rom / ISO mounted drive and access it via my C550, I was able to see the vob files and load it, however, I can't navigate through the dvd's menu. Is there a way to navigate through the menu?
