Some say meron, some say wala. But, if you really want good SQ with the gears you already have, invest on room treatments instead.
This is a sensitive topic for a lot of people. Take a look at this article. Interesting.http://www.roger-russell.com/wire/wire.htm
there must be some guideline, like if you bought your preamp for say 5k, surely you will not get a 5k interconnect.....to justify the use a 5k interconnect, then your preamp must cost in the vicinity of 100k or more.........
hehehe.. thing is, is there a difference in sound or picture quality? A notable difference for that matter.
i believe that it is best to find out for yourself.......
Hehehe... Actually, I will.. Just wanted to know sa mga na una na nag palit ng interconnects. thanks
this is a very subjective thing, kung sabihin kong night and day ang pinagkaiba, then sinubuka mo tapos hindi hindi naman pala, then dissapointed ka.....try mo muna yung interconnects na kasama ng gears mo, live with it for a while, then work your way up from there.....para meron kang basehan.....baka matapat ka pa sa nagbebenta ng interconnects, yari ka......
This is actually a sound advice...
well, it is nga... Good thing me nasira ako wire, try ko bumili ng rca na worth 300-500... isa lang muna... then check sa regular if me diff nga.. hehehe
ang diff depende yan sa reaction ng 'yong gears sa bagong metal compositions between components. so, dalawa lang yan, gumanda o pumangit ang tunog. paggumanda syempre gusto mo pa gumanda kaya palit ng iba mas mahal coz we always thought high cost = high quality, yun ang "upgrade" , but not always tha case. pagpumangit tunog subok ng iba at yun naman ang "replacement" ..... it's a never ending journey but would suggest to get Good quality wires at reasonable price and stop there. as everyone's suggested look at your listening environment, I mean acoustics/ room treatments , you'll get a new listening experience...
Teka, ano ba ang hiwaga ng Mundorf?
Here's my take on this...Sometimes may quality difference pero very minimal lang... lumalaki lang ang difference kapag medyo may kamahalan yung cable na binili mo, masasabi mong "grabe, ang laki ng difference, gumanda ang SQ/PQ!!!", pero sa totoo lang, halos wala naman pinagkaiba, naging parang malaki lang ang difference kasi ang mahal nya at kailangan mong i-justify yung presyo (marami dito ang ganyan, hehehe naging ganyan din ako dati ) imagine a cable/speaker wire na halos kasing mahal na ng gears mo, malamang sasabihin mo na pangit ang gears mo at ang nagpaganda lang sa tunog/PQ ay yung cable, hehehe instead of spending too much on IC/Video Cables/Speaker Wires, idagdag mo na lang yung money pang upgrade ng gears mo For me, isa lang ang maganda sa mga mamahaling IC/Speaker Wires at Video cables na yan... mas sturdy at matibay ang pagkakagawa nyan, at higit sa lahat, pang-porma lang... yun lang yun
sorry to bump an old thread. but i do have an interconnect querry. i heard somewhere that it is also advisable to get an IC of made by the manufacturer of your electronic gear. which means if i am using a cambridge audio amp it may be beneficial to use a cambridge audio IC. perhaps they were designed with each other in mind or they were tested multiple times together. what say you peeps?
It's not always the case, especially if your system, room, layout or preference deviates from the hardware developer's. I suggest getting all your final components (source, speakers, etc.) before rolling ICs.The IC that may sound great with your existing gear may not be the same one that would work with your future gear.
i see ( no pun intended). good to know. napaka dynamic rin talaga ng hobby na to, not to mention magastos. but i will remember this tip when i acquire a matching cd player and audition speakers
