Check out Wan chai Computer Center, located practically on top of the Wan Chai MTR station.

Not necessarily.  Prices for some brands are actually competitive in the Philippines, particularly for Sigma-based nmt's (which are a little hard to find in HK).

Places to buy nmt's:


Hong Kong: Wan Chai Computer Center (to the side of the MTR entrance on Wan Chai station)

Kowloon:

• Golden Computer Center at Sham Shui Po (also visit the audiophile stores nearby on Apliu Street) -- this is near the MTR Station
  
• Mongkok Computer Center: Mong Kok near the sneaker stores

Remember to keep local prices on your phone and to be ready to do on-the-spot forex to see kung mura nga talaga.  Kung pareho lang price (or >P200 difference), dito ka na lang bumili kasi may warranty.

Btw, hard drives and solid state drives (along with memory cards) are cheaper there than here.

Just came from HK last week, it's still better to buy here lalo na sa NMT and electronic stuff, mas mura sya ng konti kya lang mahirap ang warranty.. and be careful, maraming makulit na selle lalo na sa mkk, mas ok bumile sa TST d makulit mga tindero.. btw, make sure to visit Ikea.. super OK and mura.. hirap lang bitbitin sa dami mo mabibili, happy hunting..
