can you telnet to your HD600B? if yes, and you see linux OS, then you should be able to customize the services.

tatubias is doing some work with measy e8HD, under NMT as well. Perhaps  reading up on his thread you might get it to work with himedia. :) good luck!

Sir there were already a enhanced fw, posted by ebuyph.com (i believe this is also digitag), see the link and scroll on the bottom part, though I've never yet installed it. I believe Transmission BT was already included in this.

Can anyone please post a screen shot of the file manager page of this player?

I'd like to know if you can see the list containing the full file names and possibly the dates of files in a folder.

I have Kaiboer M1073 plus. Because of the preview screen, only a partial scrolling file name is displayed. It is slow navigating through this. If I disable preview, the empty preview box remains.

I don't think you can see the date , filenames are scrolling if it's long.

guys, how's the internal temperature of this unit? i read somewhere na sobra daw umiinit ang HDD kapag nag-install ka sa loob since wala itong cooling fan. totoo ba?

disks while in operation talagang mainit, i think its true for all.

my setup, i put a fan externally and powered via USB. para mahaba ang buhay.

its the unit i gave to my sister who stays in the US, and went for a unit with fan (brand which i cannot mention in this thread :)

this model uses the aluminum casing as heat sink that absorbs the heat from the internal hard drive and the design works.  without the internal hard drive the casing is not warm.  you can also power off the internal hard drive if you will use external drive so that it will not build any heat and you can turn on the power if you intend to use the internal hard drive again.

if you installed the sidewinder 2 firmware, you lose the internal hdd power off option of himedia.

the top loading disk is still good. the only time i got a hang was when i used it 48 hours straight for torrent at night and playback at day time. Opening the "hood" while in operation and ensuring a fan is active (laptop fan with USB powered), ok na siya pang damagan.
