I can't wait to see the second season.  It's about a terrorist planting a nuke in Los Angeles right? Cool! Sounds really exciting!  Anybody here know when the 2nd season be coming out on DVD?  Will the first lady still be there to mess things up or is she permanently gone?  Will Tony be heading the CTU replacing Jack?

Just checked Amazon & 24 - season 2 will be released in DVD on 02 Sept.2003, here's the link:

24 - Season 2 - Please click here for more details at Amazon

I heard that RPN stopped airing the show after doing reruns of the first 12 episodes of Season 1.

I see... I guess they didn't know how to market this great series, if it was AXN or Studio 23, there would be more viewers I'm sure...

What's KSA? AFAIK this week's episode is the season finale. Wonder what rabbit the writers of 24 will pull out this time. Last year's finale was such a good cliffhanger. :)

KSA is for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they are now airing Season 1 here , a bit late but it doesnt matter as long they continue the program to the next season. Im not visiting 24 related info page except this thread to avoid spoiler ;)

Which cliffhanger is worse? Season 1 or 2? I've heard from people I know that Season 2's finale wasn't as bad as the first one.

Huh ? As far as I know, there was no cliffhanger at the end of the first season ...

The end of second season however played like the third season will happen right after.

Wala nga. Unless DViant maybe missed the 11pm-12am installment? Despite the weekly cliffhangers, the storyline of Season One was pretty much a closed arc by the end of the season finale. Bummer if Season 2 ends that way you say. That's not a very satisfying pay-off for a 24 hour investment of time!  >:(

Season 1's finale did have a cliffhanger. In fact I was fortunate enough not to have watched the ending of S1 when I already had Season 2 in my posession.

Pardon me, but what was the cliffhanger?

[SPOILERS]Senator Palmer had left his wife, Dennis Hopper was dead, Nina was apprehended, Jack's daughter was safe, her boyfriend had turned himself in, and Jack's wife was dead.[/SPOILERS]

Which storyline did you consider unresolved?  ???

If I did watch what happend I'd probably go crazy being bitin.

It's not as bad as Alias S1 mind you but it's still bad.

Well, seeing how I knew the entire season would end in what's allegedly a 24 hour period, I really wasn't expecting the Presidential bid to be resolved, and was already satisfied with the arrest of Nina/Teri death for what they were.

I guess "bitin" is in the eye of the beholder. You must go really really crazy over the Smallville season enders, huh?  ;D

Your first question can not be resolved of course considering things happened on a day when he was still letting people know him well.

Second question, didn't you see when she was taken? That implies what will happen to her.

Third, he was crying. You would too after a terrible thing.

I thought it was a perfect ending .. with similarities in Palmer and Jack's fate regarding their beloved. I actually liked it better than this season's ending.

Just recently joined the "24" bandwagon. For the longest time since Gonz started this thread, I have been wanting to watch this show but I never seem to catch it on local tv :P.

Anyway, I'm still on the first disc of season 1 and I don't want to discuss the show yet  (to avoid spoilers) but I have a question. I don't wanna read 5 pages down this thread, in case you guys already discussed it (coz I don't wanna run into spoilers nga) ----- but my question is (and actually have very little to do with the show, hehe!) -------------------------  Jack's daughter -  Isn't she the host of Popular Mechanics on Discovery Channel? ;D

Yay ! Welcome to the bandwagon I guess. Hope you have fun watching the best tv show there is right now sans Kim's story line.

As for Kim, I hope they put her in a boarding school or something. Maybe that will lessen her being prone to disasters.  ;D ;D ;D

Okay....just finished watching Disc 3 of Season 1.  And, if counted right,  I have counted about 14 people dead since episode 1.  Are you guys sure this show isn't called 24 because there are going to be 24 dead people when the Season 1 ends??  ;D  I've seen too many  people killed today.  I think I'll go and watch Disney in while. :-\
