I took the yamaha natural sound CDX 620 rs instead with 18 bit dac 8 bit oversampling , optical and digital out., all metal case. I cannot find the model in the internet though, the nearest is CDX 596. Its ok naman so far.

I'm not Titanium, but I'll try to answer your questions.

CDP is around 2.5K below at PIER (near BIR).

As of today my CDP still provide me solid performance no problem pa rin... galing for 2k PANALO TALAGA!! pag breakdown ito give you update.. hehehe

Sorry for late reply. I have only opened this site today after using another IP address. have been requesting the mod to lift the ban imposed on my office Ip ad for weeks now to no avail. I got my player for 3.5 k, medyo mahal but its worth it. Im enjoying the player esp wi th WS pre amp connected to it.Swabe talaga.

I got it from a guy i met through the internet,di daw surplus but i think surplus din yun. may kasama nang transformer. So far ok naman, kahit dvd r and dvd rw binabasa, except mp3.

guys...juz saw several teac 5 disc cd changers with digital outputs @ hmr selling 2400 each

..dunno if it can play cd-rs

That seems to be a real bargain. Teac is a respected name (though mostly for professional stuff). Maybe you could bring a CD-RW and test it.

tested several teac cd players sa HMR a couple of months ago. Lahat ayaw gumana. Was able to spot a Sony ES 5 disc changer. got it for 2k. Also with digital out and reads CDR.

hi. bago lang ako dito sa pinoydvd.

question lang. meron kasi akong nakuhang old Sony CD player sa bahay ng mother-in-law ko. tinry ko kung gumagana pa, pero kahit anong CD na ilagay, "No Disc" lang parati. would it be cost-efficient kung papagawa ko pa ito, considering na it can play CDs lang and not VCDs? or would it better to buy a new VCD?

question po ulit. meron bang mga repair shop na nagcoconvert ng CD to VCD? if meron, san and magkano magpagawa?

No disc display.. since old na yan try mo open and wipe the lens with a clean dry cloth baka makuha pa pero kung di na repair na katapat..

VCD mmmh pre better buy a DVD player since it can play all disc DVD, VCD, MP3, CD audio, even CDR, generic DVD will cost you P3,400..

bro if busted na ang lens, better get a dvd player as suggested. pro syempre dedicated cd players, i think, still sound better for audio. Unless high end dvd player bilhin mo.

actually, meron na akong nextbase dvd player. gusto ko lang magkaron ng dedicated cd player para hindi malaspag yung nextbase.

sige, ill try wiping the lens, tapos kung ayaw pa rin gumana, pacheck ko sa repair. tapos kung lumagpas ng 500 pesos ang repair, di ko na papagawa. hehehe

sayang kasi yung spare speakers na kasama nung old Sony CD player na yun eh. nakatambak lang sa bahay kung sakali...
