this is according to my experience bro.  :)
but after listening to my 1912 for a while, im actually thinking it's a bit neutral.  can't really tell if it's because of audyssey.  i always though of onkyo to be bright as most internet read says it is, but after listening to nerveblocker's 705 2 weeks ago, it was not that bright after all ;D ;D

It is more on the combination of receiver and speakers that brings out the overall sound quality.  If sir Jim would choose A-audio custom speakers to pair with his receiver, Master Anthony can tweak the speaker to sound its best with a certain receiver.  Yan ang maganda sa A-audio.  ;)

Got a budgetary quote na for Aaudio and it certainly is such a fresh breath of air to know I have this option, and the testimonies I read. Denon 1912 seems leading my avr scorecard based On feeds but have yet hear from yamaha rxv 671 actual experience.
Price category , onkyo 609 is under $ 360 usd vs $ 550 of yamaha and denon.

Just ordered Yamaha Aventage rx-a800.

and now I wait ... ano ba kelangan ko isama ko accessories for this mga Yammy boys?

I have a few USB 3.0 Mediasonic probox coming in and likely an  Onkyo 609/709, bahala na what goes to the main HT room pero the RX-a800 is good enough. anyways, OOT pero PM lang if you guys are on a lookout for the 4 bay mediasonic or 609/709.

Meantime, already in talks to commission center speaker that might double in a display area. for fronts, likely use a hand me down speakers from my dad's old set, likely in a new enclosure to match the center speaker skin.

wow pogi ng amp! i am and still a Yammy fan, kaya lang because of my speakers naka Onkyo ako  ;) try to audition the SCS series ng SVS kina Mike. Subjective yang speakers kasi mayron tayong sariling preference. There will be slight difference on how they sound and you will not really know what you are looking for until you audition as much as you can  ;D Libre lang naman punta kina Mike, if free ako puwede pa kita samahan  ;D

malaking bagay yung sub sa total HT experience. sabi nga nila pili ng sub that you can feel and not one that you can hear  ;D

yung LG either Plasma or LED  ;) ok yung passive 3D nila plus ok din yung customer service  :)

dun ako sa plasma. mas mura saka gusto ko naman hindi LED. more for movies sa kuarto. :) pa PM naman nice models bro, baka me alam kang hitik sa freebies para i can save time and money na agad. para ma testing and 3D ng S900, was told its really good for a passive given may 3 levels of intensity. if i really want true 3D, dun na ko sa bluray player.

thanks!

Hi, problema if you want plasma and passive 3D because ang alam ko yun LG plasma 3D are active sets only while yun passive are LED only. Unless meron new models na lumabas na Plasma and passive.
