I'm almost certain that Dwight won't go to the Lakers. He doesn't want to follow Shaq's footsteps! Tama na yun sinasabihan siya ni Shaq na he's not the original Superman :p

Per reports, Howard says that he will only re-sign with one team (Brooklyn). So "buyer beware" na lang to any other team which insists on trading for him this season. What a guy. 'Yung mga may ugaling ganito ang hindi nagcha-champion eh.

BTW, shouldn't there be a new NBA season thread by now? Maybe the mods can move some of the recent discussion here to an NBA 2013 thread.

with that kind of attitude, Dwight Howard will be the NBA's new public enemy no.1 ;D

or the mods can just rename this current thread.  :)

Joe Johnson trade talk on hold, Hawks want Brooks

Quote
One big stumbling block, sources said, is Atlanta's insistence that Brooklyn include promising Nets guard MarShon Brooks in the trade to ensure that, in addition to shedding Johnson's hefty contract, it gets back at least one on-the-rise player.

Nets got Joe Johnson.

I have a hunch they will package Brook Lopez, Joe Johnson & a draft pick or two, or cash considerations, for Dwight Howard. :)

Possible, but unlikely ...... MAGIC GM Hennigan comes from the SPURS school of management - believes in rebuilding through the draft and smart free-agent hiring (much like what ex-boss Presti did with OKC).

Joe Johnson's contract is about as bad as it gets in the NBA ...... max-money for a good, not great, player.

HAWKS GM Ferry (yet another one from SPURS management) should be elated about shedding Johnson's massive contract ..... with good reason - you should pay max-money only to those great franchise players.

As far as the Champs go, the only posibilities right now is still Ray Allen and Marcus Camby.

I'm leaning on Camby though. pag 100% na uli si Wade after the surgeries, magiiba na mga Plays ni Spo imho. Kelangan na ng traditional Center.
