been using the service for over a year now, pretty reliable and service is efficient. it uses sea freight so your stuff will be with you after 3-5 weeks. their balikbayan boxes are price at $30-70. irregular shape stuff that wont fir their boxes they will charge more. for electronic items they charge some tax depending on the price you paid for the item. but usually $20 for anything between $200-$500.

the company is owned by forex cargo, one of the bigger cargo handlers doing westcoast to philippines balikbayan boxes delivery.

and your items are shipped door to door.  :)

Learned about them from Iiinas.  ;D

Used them several times na. Very reliable. If you are shipping a big item, better to use them. For small items that you want fast, use JAC.

they will give you 45 days to consolidate all your orders. they start counting from the time they got your first items.

My experience is that it will take around 6 weeks for the items to get here. By the way, they have tracking updates.

its the same company, the p.o. box i think is just the internet site to keep track of your orders. when the boxes arrives, its forex cargo boxes. afaik, the po box is owned by the son of the owner of forex cargo. so its basically the same.

you track your orders in the forex cargo site.

Bakat mas matagal ang akin? :( :(

When your goods are with them and you give the go-signal to ship, it will take around a week before it is finally shipped. Then, it takes a little more than a month to get here. Once in Manila, it takes only a few days before you receive it.

i start counting when its shipped, if kasama yung processing then yup, add another week to that.

ok to ah, they consolidate orders and you can use their card.

how do you settle payment? can you pay local or pay them with your credit card? any surcharge

@wildfire, when you ship, get insurance for items > $100 value.

you can pay through the banks or paypal. i pay via paypal.

for speakers, baka mas pricey kasi it wont fit their boxes. but sabi nila its still cheaper. i have bought receivers already, gps units and other stuff.

Jay2 brought in his 3 JTR speakers through pobox. Each speaker had 3 x 12" woofers. Murang mura raw shipping cost.

this is good.....just got our balikbayan box this morning, and the box was shipped through forex.  my sister in law was the one who received the ordered items for us in the US.   Minsan kasi, nakakahiya na sa kanila, syempre kahit papaano...

ill try this, just for pre xmas shopping  ;)

I went for POBox's services after My Shopping Box messed up. Mas-reliable sila at madaling kausap. They have excellent service kahit pa sabihing matagal 'yong shipping.
