bro don't buy it ng sabay sabay.. slow down muna..
for example try a 2.1 setup-up first.. everything will come in due time..

or
try to buy a second hand receiver
or
an imported new one most probably prices will still go down by next year..

I think I'll take your advice and buy receiver muna, then kung may matira pa konti e, a good sub and maybe a budget BS muna para for music ma-enjoy ko na.

Saka na yung center & floorstander as FS, pwede naman po gawin surround yung BS speakers di po ba?

if I'll start all over again with limitd budget ganyan din ang gagawin ko. kahit ngayon most of my gears preowned, my amps more than a decade old na basta good working condition ...

Thanks Sir hehe, si misis ang pumili ng apple green motif ng paint.

Sa ngayon 2.1 ch pa lang setup ko, so medyo di ko pa maximize yung 5.1 ch, at di ko pa rin ma dinig yung DTS-HD at Dolby True HD kc naka set to off yung center at surround ko.

So right now Im just enjoying music po..so far nag gel naman sila ng Konzert FS at SW ko. I've tried movies na downmix ng 2.1 channels and ganda rin po ng SQ nya.

Settings ko lang na small pareho yung center at surround para ibato nya mga lows sa sub..medyo maliit kc drivers e para di hirap.

So far Im very happy na d2 (for now)...tigil muna SARS virus, uminom na muna ako anti-SARS e hehe

Di na simple yan chris. You can judge by the level of entanglement of wires that are hidden behind the audio rack. I bet yours are pretty much entangled by now.

hehe thanks Sir, oo nga, dati e konti lang nakasaksak sa likod. Now dami na, speaker wires, adaptor wires, rca's, hdmi's, avr etc...edit ko na lng Sir yung title ko.

Oo nga Sir,

Medyo sa ngayon e nabibitin ako sa FS ko pag music, sa movies ok na ok e...kaya eto..balak na naman mag upgrade ng fronts kundi this Dec, early next year. Hirap talaga ng pag naumpisahan na e, sunod sunod na ang upgrade hehe.

hi Sir, yun nga una kong struggle e, mali bili ko ng rack..di ko naisip na mag upgrade ako balang araw. Hinabol ko kc d2 yung drawer sa ilalim hehe.

Yung height nung lagayan sa gitna is only 5 inches...yung AVR nasa 7 in e. Try ko rin sa ibabaw ng AVR pero matatakpan yung labasan ng heat ng AVR, bka masira at mag over heat.

Kaya struggle din ako sa center, naghanap ako ng 5 in tall lang na center...kaya sa future pag nag upgrade ako ng center na mas mataas ang height...di ko alam kung saan ko ilalagay hehe.

Siguro mag stand na lang ako sa center pag nag upgrade ako ng center ko.

suggestion lang brader, ilagay mo na sa ifs yung tv rack/mount mo and get one from cdr king. maraming murang malalaki clearance ng bawat layer. future proof na for your upgrade, mura pa. at maganda rin naman. di pahuhuli sa mga branded. yan din una kong naging dilemma, di ko naisip yung receiver. buti na lang naibenta ko yung una kong nabili and replaced it with a bigger clearance layered tv rack/mount. just my two centavos' worth.

Yan din po iniisip ko...isa pa po palang problem is nasa 4th floor kami using spiral staircase. Bago naiakyat itong rack...4 people nagtulong-tulong na idaan sya thru our terrace, and floor by floor sya inaalalayan para di tumama yung glass. almost 1.5 hours sya hinila paakyat kc tumatagilid yung rack and may tendency tumama sa mga walls or mahulog.

Kaya last option ko po yung magpalit ng tv rack kc sobrang hassle ng bahay namin e...alam ni Sir DIDi10 yan, kc nakaakyat na sya sa very steep spiral staircase namin. Kaya nung ibinaba namin yung purchase nilang Wharfedale EVP x15...naku napakahirap hehe.

What if I buy a 2 layer rack then mount it on the upper left side of our wall, then dun ko ilagay yung receiver & players. Then clear na yung sa ibabaw ng rack for a bigger center. Then yung gitna e mga BD's na lang or iba pang future gears.

Di kaya pangit syang tignan?

Parang ganito sya..(simulation lang po ito)

And I have to hide all those wires tangled at the back of the receiver & players
