A Luxman PD-277 and Gram Amp 2 SE. Awaiting tomorrow to get the Clearaudio Aurum Classic Wood cartridge.

Eager to set it up this weekend with the help of my buddy Jomar

After a few days of playing, it is improving quite well. I got the cartridge quite new kaya siguro still in the process of breaking-in. A lot more tweaking next.

To improve the sound of my Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 phono-stage (24v supply) and WD media player (12v supply), I DIYed a dual output power supply. This is to replace the stock walmart supply that comes with them. I tried the best components that i could get like schotkky rectifiers and nichicon gold tune caps, to name a few.

Was there improvement? I got a much bigger and effortless sound. Improvement from top to bottom frequency.

Bro, add another bypass caps on output filter caps to lower down the psu impedance!

Almost thinking of getting rid of my tt set-up. Not satisfied as it sound thin and as if something is not right

Last night i tried my spare cartridge, a Goldring 1012GX, given to me by a nice seller of a Rega RB300 many moons ago. It replaced a Clearaudio Aurum Classic Wood.

The Goldring was way of an improvement over the Clearaudio. It was right from top to bottom (bass is now present at the right quantity and quality). Now again enjoying my journey
