Here is the plan and ongoing pa rin for the KEF 104Ab hybrid design.

Plan ko sana separate chambers yung tweeter at mid/woofer. Then crossover and binding post dun sa tweeter backside nakalagay. Front/baffles would still be angled may be less than 10 degrees.

Very nice DIY. It is wonderful to see drawings become real speakers. I like the trapezoid speakers. Lots of benefits with the design and I am sure you are hearing them. A late congratulations to you.

Heto brader maagang pamasko sa sarili.

Tune up and cleaning time pa so di pa maipakita ng buo. Late 70's unit na di nakakabit tone arm, will update soonest.

The trapezoid speakers needs a lot of effort and patience to build but all worth it. It sounds different from all the speakers I've owned and am liking it.

I got this without arm, only the spare board that I posted earlier. Now after a few months of hunting I got an arm of same era plus a bonus cart. Now it is spinning, a lot could be done for this table and getting expensive each time so stick with this stock 1st and get the hung on LP12, later na ang malikot na pagiisip time to enjoy my 1st MC cart.

This is an early Linn LP12, 80's prior to valhalla power boards. LP12 at its core and bare which I like, ever since I got my 1st turntable Thorens TD160 MKII I dreamed of this table kaya ito na regalo ko sa sarili ko nung Christmas at birthday ko last January.

The arm is a Syrinx PU2 which is complimentary to the Supex 900 super MC cart that was given free for the arm, it is aged but still functions well to my ears.

Another addition sa wakas may decent preamp nako dito. Bought from ebay 4x6N3 tube preamp assembled board plus sir TonyT's power transformer good to go, assembled case from aluminum panels from my flatmate and bits and pieces from elctronics shop here.

It is actually an aikido LV 1st edition clone

For the money it is quite good plus easy install.

congrats, about the vsps phono head, if you find the volume a bt low, you can just tweak it for more gain with just two resistors...will pm you details later...

Thanks brod. Di naman high end yan kundi pinaglumaan ng iba tsaka natin inaayos at basta magamit na ng tama okay na ko dun. DIY ka rin brod kaya mo yan lakas loob lang at daming pasensya need dyan.

Sir Tony di ko pa nilagay dyan VSPS wala pa ko makita suitable traffos dito, ilang MAmps ba minimum need neto. Tsaka gusto ko hiwalay na box ko nalang sya para pede kahit palit preamp. Definitely look forward to the gain adjust thing. Thanks again.

^low power, 12v 200ma traffo is what i use, in a voltage doubler configuration psu pwede....
you need at least +-17 volts or better....input to the board...
