A seller recommends the following NHT for my HT setup:

SB1 (FR, FL, SR, SL)
SC1 (center)
SW10 (sub woofer)

Total package price is P50k lang (fits my budget

). All speakers have 8 ohms impedance & around max 150w. Is this a good buy?

Considering it's an old model, is there a newer model available in the market? Any feedback from NHT owners that own these speakers?

Hi guys, just want to get your opinion regarding this Subwoofer. Is this comparable with Velodyne's line of subwoofer? How about JBL's 10" subwoofer? Ok po ba sya both for Movies and Audio? how much kaya sya ngayon? thanks

mga repapips!!! i just need ur comments and suggestions... after selling my old HT stuff m planning to build another, haaaayyyy... neweis, i wanted to get NHT for my speakers since i had the opportunity to use one before bought 'em form a friend (Super Ones, love the piano finish!!!!) and i really liked them especially the deep bass considering that they're only bookshelfers (tama ba un, ginaya ko lang sa floorstanders, hehehe)....

what do you think?

4 me the best talaga speaker ng nht perfect talaga hindi sya masakit sa tenga d tulad ng ibang speaker na napakinggan ko lalo n nht sub.wow the best.walang tatalo talaga sa nht speakers.

my super ones have served me well for many years mainly for ht applications and i still have not parted ways with them till now. superb mids and highs. as i remember, it used to be carried by upscale audio where i bought them. does anyone know what outfit represents them today here in the phils?

for my 7.1 set-up... puro antik na speakers ko

but ok pa rin tumunog...hehehhe

When I first heard of this brand decades ago I said to myself, Who would buy this speakers with a badge of "Now Hear This" on the speaker grills...parang di mo ma seryoso

New Acoustic Dimensions doesnt sound that much more serious to me either, but NAD (despite the initial impression as "gonads," specifically male) does. Thing is, when you hear the amps, the amps sure have the balls. Their power supply designs sure put them close to Class A topology's sound and response time, well at least mine did after I replaced that wimpy stock power cable.

hello comet.. ive tried every amp in my arsenal.. sansui, hitachi, denon, luxman, marantz, pioneer, kenwood. all gave very satisfying results. of course all these amps are of vintage caliber. not sure how will they perform with the new generation. its what i like with this speaker, di mapili sa amp.. but thats just my ears..

you will just have to audition yourself.. goodluck

Ang alam ko wala sir. They do offer factory direct though like Emotiva.
