just saw the konzert 300R set up in abenson,galleria.. It looks sleek and nice although I haven't auditioned it..... anyone have? Also please post the price tag on this baby..... and also a pic of the front and back panel... thanks.

i think the 300r is arund 2.8k or was that 3.2k, napakinggan ko lang once, haphazard yung pag kabit...hehehe problema lang is walang screen yung amp, di ko natry i-fiddle remote...sabi nung may-ari nung shop faface out na daw yung 500r. pero mas malakas pa din yung 500r, beefier construct. sinilip namin yung 300r, sa loob isang torroidal lang gamit (as opposed sa 2 torroidal na gamit ng 500r)

hi,

I'm a user of Konzert AV-300R. Bought mine here in the province for P3,500. It is working well. I paired it with my Klipsch Quintet. It has no DD or DTS decoders but good thing my player have those built in. HAppy with it right now but hoping for a high end one soon.

Bro's san po ba ang service center ni Konzert?

I just found out last night that my My Konzert 500R ampli was not functioning properly (naitodo ata ng anak ko ung volume ng matagal nung huling ginamit nya)... nawalan ng output ung front speakers pero ung rear and center meron.. and ung volume and selector knob nya di na rin gumagana so remote na lang gamit ko to control the ampli.. too bad out of warranty na ung unit ko :'(..

appreciate any info regarding authorized KONZERT service center where I can bring my unit for repair. Thanks.

i believe konzert is under licensed by pioneer .. if you still have the warranty, it states that you can bring your konzert at pioneer service center in guadalupe makati (not sure). better call pioneer service center and tell them your concerns.. hope this helps..

Hi just want to share something about a cheap amp but a very reliable one the KonZert 502A Karaoke/Stereo Amp.

I recently bought this sa Raon in Quiapo, for Php 3,500.00. the specs are these:

500W + 500W Max Stereo
50W Center
50W + 50W Surround

1.) Hindi nya binigay ang exact technical specifications sa manual, at wala rin indication ng total power consumption or even speaker hook-ups nito sa back panel ng amp, so its hard to distinguish kung hanggang saan ang capabilities nito.

2.) Suppose to be Pro-Logic ang amp na ito! pero when I try to hook up it up with a 5 channels speaker, wala decoding na nangyari, and pro-logic system are dedicated channels. Fronts L/C/R while ang surrounds remain mono's, pero when I try a programme material (e.g. 2 fast 2 furious) meron nga steering ng L/R channels pero pag dating sa critical Center, SABLAY! hindi lang center channel ang may vocal's pati L/R at surround niya. Surrounds should only project ambiance (passing cars, stray bullets, passing persons or things etc.).

3.) Karaoke daw ang amp na ito, RIGHT!!! when iItry a videoke material and hook up my Shure PG48 vocal microphone, SABLAY ulit! may vocals level nga at may echo, pero walang intensity, suppose to be may digital delay ito, pero walang depth or intensity ang boses ng kakanta dito, kase walang delay or reverb buti pa ang Promac meron, with having technical similarities. I have to add up a effects mic mixer.

Sa visual appearance naman, para daw hindi ka ma fake according to the sales person (official distributor of KonZert products) eto daw ang mga palatandaan, dahil almost gayang gaya na daw ng mga pirates ang products nila, here it is:

a.) Look for the warranty card, dahil ang products nila ay may warranty for 1 year inclusive of all parts and services, plus may corresponding serial nos. ito.

b.) Yung engraving ng KONZERT name sa top portion ng amp, malalim ang pagkaka metal stamp nito malinaw at hindi mababaw.

c.) May 3 switch outlet sa back panel ng amp, that can handle up to 300W max.

d.) Yung top portion ng amp may grill so when you peek inside, yung PCBoard daw ay must be light brown ang immitation daw ay dark brown or green, plus ang power supply nito at torrodial transformer at 8 pcs ang power transistors nito hindi ko lang alam kung ano model type.

So my final verdict. This is to my opinon lang naman, hindi ito pang home theater dahil kahit sa Pro-logic hindi niya ito ma-perform ng tama at wala rin future enhancement dahil stereo inputs lang ito walang 5 channels input. At sa karaoke naman wala silbi ang front inputs nito sa Mic kung depth at intensity ang hanap mo, you have to add up a digital effects mic mixer.

PERO MAY FEW PRO'S ITO. THIS AMP CAN HANDLE A PROFESSIONAL LOUDSPEAKER UPTO 500WATTS" PEAK!!! . I hooked this with a professional studio loudspeaker monitor (horn and 15" driver rated at 500W peak)12 hour straight party music, walang sablay, we have all the music power we need and i can say this amp categorize as a Hi-fi dahil sa mga integrated controls nito (e.g. bass, mid, high etc.) a hi-fi amp that can handle enough power as a professional amp, plus imagine the torture na ginagawa ng mga sales person sa Raon sa amp na ito so you can rely on this pag dating sa tibay, basta caution lang dapat tama lang ang hook-ups ng mga speaker.

Sa music power walang duda sa amp na ito, pero caution: dont try hooking it up with a 2/4ohms load. dahil pretty sure damage may occur. Sa clarity i can rate it 6.5 out of a 10 point scale pero if you have an old laptop na may SPDIF out try mo input ito, dagdag effects kung baga.

But for Php. 3,500.00. this is very cheap! kung hindi ka naman ganun kaselan at hindi ka pala rely sa mga technical nos na makikita mo sa specs at loud music and stereo lover ka, Okey.

I'll update more info's after I break-in this amp more.

There's a warranty sticker attached to the side screws. kaya I can't open the top lid. but ill try to photo it. medyo malalaki yung mga slot's sa top portion eh, inside is visible somehow. anyways I have a question, how can I post the photos here? I need the procedures.

you need a photo hosting site like www.photobucket.com , you can create a free account then upload your photo's. once you have that it will be very easy.

but for 3500, this amp surely rocks! i can not fault this amp if only for the price.

Here are some of the photos I took.

Some how the size of the Torrodial can be seen, it is almost half the size of the casing. but I really haven't got any idea about its rating.

Sorry, I haven't able to put out the top lid because of the warranty. Anyways this amp has a bit heavy weight. but I hope this photo help.

heatsinks are not that big! but at the bottom picture there is a thermal cut- out attached to the heatsinks, this will protect the amp's output transistors from overheating(thermal run-away)

main filter cap is rated at 10000ufd, but i did not get the wvdc rating, if the traffo is 32-0-32 as jojo said, then i bet the they are 50 volt types.

therefore, the rails are at +/-45 volts, so in terms of static sine waves, output power is therefore, 80 watts per channel, both channels driven, at 8ohms.

how they got the 500watt rating i do not know! nor am i interested to know.

at 3500, construction is superb i would say! i may yet get one.

At least I now have some idea about this amp. ciguro the 500W/ch eh for marketing purposes only ala BOSE.

Anyways, the performance is good for an average joe, I'm just wondering, high current nga kaya ito? kasi for it to produce such power para makaya niya ang 500W 15" P/A professional loudspeaker + Horn at a certain level. yung cone excursion is really pumping. and its just producing an average heat.

well maganda lang ciguro ang pagkaka construction nito meron naman ciguro QC kahit local at ciguro may man hours din for engineering research ang KonZert.

pahabol na question, bridge kaya ang speaker A + B nito?.

i noticed the heatsinks are more on the fron part of hte amp, you can put two 80mmfans atop the heatsinks for better cooling if you intend to use this amp for pa work!

bridging these amps will double the power, in theory, bridging quaruples the power but since we do not know how the power transformer can handle it so twice the power is a safe bet!

It already has an exhaust fan at the back, switched by a sensor attached to the heatsink. Bought it at 2k 2nd hand - for marathon outside listening - pang-haragan.

It has (it looks like) 3 more auxilliary amp at lower power - located at the rear of the amp. I have not tested it yet except the front channels.

Good materials (cheap pa) sana for the GC housing and power supply (but have no time to tinker with it for now). The torroidal xformer is 32Vac - too high for the GC also.

the 3 other small amps could very well be gainclone chips, ala lm1875....

you can always wind extra windings in series with the primary to get the voltages down to gc levels

or you can use lm383 voltage regs to bring down the dc rails.

The Sakura version is not in bridge mode, it is a a full complimentary pp ss amp. Probably a class ab but the schematic shows a fixed resistor in the bias circuit and be also biased in class b though I think they won't do that.

you're right, the rear amps are tda2030 chipamps.

yep, 338 is a regulator, i just used it as a regulator for my digital amp project from 41Hz.com. yun 383 old chipamp din ng NS yun eh. Typo lang siguro.

nasilip ko na naman kahapon yan sa raon, most ng mga bumibili pag Konzert yun 502A kapag Sakura naman AV-5023 ang model. haslos pareho lang laman eh.

Type na type ko yun volume pot, may click-click.

I think wala pa still 502A, meron itong sub out, pretty sure satisfied ka sa power, pero dont expect too much prologic decoding here some pics:

I think I havent seen any Konzert na may tuner, ewan ko lang kung may bago na silang model with tuner, pero kung meron man I think analog pa ito. by the way yung 200watts na hinahanap mo RMS ba or Peak? wala kasi sa integrated amp nito, meron sa true RMS power sa professional amp pero mga Php. 25T above, I think yung Konzert 502A is only +/-30amps giving a true 80Wpc. yung 500Watts sa K-502A is only for power marketing... pero okey naman kasi kayang kaya niya ma handle ang configured array system kahit 15" subs... basta hindi baba sa 4ohms..
