if you mean the 'network media tank' (nmt), there's plenty to choose from like: popcorn hour, streamer, egreat, western digital, meron na rin labas ang asus, kaiboer, etc, etc. search mo lang sa google, marami nyan sa sulit, tipidpc at meron din nyan dito sa pdvd.

You don't need a PS3 media server like program since you can always connect the TV by HDMI cable to your laptop or desktop. But if you wish to just use the tv and power down the laptop/desktop then a NMT would be your choice. However, please note that some tv's can play videos off a USB or hdd if you connect it through the usb slot of the tv but this doesn't guarantee playback for all as not all codecs are supported and there is no "firmware" update for the built-in USB player of the tv.

Hope this helps.

If gusto mo to share via network yun movies in a pc, then grab a network hd media player, yun Mura Lang that can network. This way you can access your computer file share.
oR puede mo din Lipat movies mo to a small USB 2.5" disk and watch ka directly.

If buy ka new player, Wag ka bibili ng 1073 Realtek based chip, kasi 1185 na out for newer models. But if budget ka get a Preowned na may warranty.

Go for wired LAN for hd media player.

Hope that helps

If you would go the NMT way, then sir Jim (toys4geeks) sells them as well! Haven't bought from him but he's very helpful.

good luck on your TV search!

sa TV, on a budget, go plasma, kagat lang is on power and the reflection so if you can control the room lights coming in I'd go plasma over LED/LCD anyday, go 3D while you are at it.  :)
