Author Topic: Qube 42" 1080P FULL HD LED Internet TV (Smart TV) (Read 8611 times)

I saw it on the ads, I went to Gilmore, scrutinized it, it has it's flaws;like no choice if your'e using an antennae or cable(who uses one in the age of cable and internet TV....but I do, I don't believe in cable), backlight bleed (even the expensive Samsung LED has backlight bleed), PC monitor facade and of course cheap looking remote...but what the heck, it's 23K and comes with a wireless keyboard and speakers, so basically a 20K monitor with TV function and 1080p resolution.

I bought it: My take is that for a 42" that has Smart features (Android 2.3 OS, built-in wifi, 2G Internal memory) that cost as much as a 32Samsung, probably worth a gamble.....hence I'm starting this thread just in case anyone shared the same thoughts I had when I took the plunge and share whatever comes with usage.

LED siya....kaya kamukha na nang mga nakita mong LED Displays, para sa akin di' pwedeng tignan lang sa screen shot, dapat makita ninyo nang naka display habang ma-palabas...tuloy tuloy naman ang display unit sa Gilmore at sa N.Domingo store nila, punta na lang kayo

just been to gilmore yesterday afternoon and saw this Smart TV for P24k, pwede na... (it's just me... but of course with the same price point ibang usapan na siguro yun!)

about the PQ as the TS stated "dapat makita ninyo nang naka display habang ma-palabas..." will try to go back there tomorrow and test it with my Media Player via HDMI for me to see the display quality and also the sales rep told me that it can also play *.mkv files directly thru an EHD via the USB port. (will just check it tomorrow and update you guys...)

yes, its a rebranded ktc http://www.ktc.com.cn/products/ledtv/42/2052.html# with the "s" on the end of the model number sticker at the back of the display unit at gilmore.

Another discovery just this afternoon.
Kagagaling ko lang sa SM Appliance center and found this 32 inch LED TV na naidemo pa sa akin ng sales rep dun. Brand is SANSUI.
Nagulat ako ng makita ko ang remote. Parehong pareho ng remote ng Qube Smart Tv.
Nang tignan ko ang menu para sa settings parehong pareho pati ang hitsura ng likod.
Siyempre hindi internet TV si Sansui.
Price is at 20k+.
Napangiti nalang ako sa isip ko ay hindi lang pala si Qube ang ginagawan ng LED tv ni KTC pati pala si Sansui. Hindi na siguro nakakagulat kung merun pang ibang kapareho ito pero iba ang brand.

Walang 120hz mura iyan kasi sa Electronic Boutique ko nakita iyun AVision 28 at 38K yata.

Ito ay may Android OS, may kasamang mini keyboard at Qube speaker.

Kung su-sumahin mo....mga 19K o' 20K lang ito pag tinangal mo ang ibang kasama niya....42" LED na 19/20K kahit 1 year warranty lang, OK parin

Update;
This panel was able to recognize and browse thru a 1.5Tb SAmsung G3 External NTFS formatted HDD and surprisingly was able to read my AVCHD (mts2) files, although it was not smooth, however it had no problem with DVD VTS_VOB files, some 720p MKV(480 runs smoothly) files and plays AVI, MP4 and x264 files with the exception of WMV files

pinuntahan ko yung store nila nung May 4 sa Las Piñas, maganda yung display nya pinatry ko dun sa saleslady na magplay ng movie nagplay sya ng trailer ng The Avengers in HD maganda yung display nya tamang lang pang sala at kwarto worth it na sya sa price na 22K+ tapos pinatry ko mag browse sa web, tnry nya Youtube mabilis din sya nakapagplay ng video depende na lang siguro sa internet connection yun pero ayos naman sya mabilis na iload yung webpage at video. maliit lang yung wireless keyboard nya, ginamitan nila ng extension yung receiver ng keyboard dahil pag hindi raw ay medyo naglalog kaya magproprovide sila sa mga bibili. tinanong ko rin kung pwede lagyan ng webcam hindi pa raw nila na try. i hope dun sa may mga unit na please try nyo kung pwede gamitan ng webcam baka pwede sya pang Skype video call. kaya dun sa may mga budget pwede na sya. how i wish may budget na ako ngayon para mabili na sya.

Anymore reviews of this led tv? Palagi ko nakikita ang add nito sa newspaper at sa tulad kong kapos at walang dollar account pero nais magka-big screen led tv ay mapapaisip.

Went to their store this afternoon and I had with me my 500gb usb powered hdd. Requested the rep to test and we were able to play my movie files. Played happy feet 2, band of brothers, abduction, etc. There were some lags but most likely due to spin speed of the hdd. PQ is quite good and I am quite sure that it's better than my 32" inch lcd at home though this 42 incher has 60hz refresh rate only. Checked out the browser interface and I found it quite easy to navigate using their mini keyboard. It's a small keyboard with a small touchpad. It comes with a wifi dongle which utilizes 1 of its two usb ports. The only downside that I can see is that its built in speakers could be louder. I think that is why this is being marketed with a 2.1 speaker set. I have been told that since it is Android, it will be able to recognize a wireless keyboard and mouse set. Great if you want to browse from your couch or bed. Right now though this is out of stock and will be available by 2nd week of June.
